we sent our package on february 11th, the check was cashed the 22nd. but still no hard copy... Is it normal? if the check is cashed i have nothing to worry about and just wait for noa1? right?:):wacko:

I am really starting to get frustrated, I sent my packet in on 2/22 Priority mail from Houston to Dallas and have recieved nothing. :( Not the text or e-mail not confirmation from the return reciept, nothing... ahhh GOING CRAZY!

I got mine pretty fast; I consider my timeline a bit on the lucky side. If you were matching my timeline, you'd have received yours yesterday, but a lot of people say it takes theirs up to 2 weeks to show up in the mail. Give it a little time, if they cashed the check, you should soon have your NOA1 in hand.

Don't worry about it. We have the same issue. We never got an email or text notification but our check was cashed over two weeks ago already! It seems to happen rather frequently so watch out for your check and eventually we hopefully receive our hard copy. I don't know why some people get theirs so much faster than others. Really strange.

There really is no rhyme or reason to how these applications seem to be handled. Watching this form and Igor's List, I see people who haven't seen a bit of movement on July applications, while some August and September applicants have approvals. Timelines are good guidelines, but every person's journey is their own, and although some are similar, no two are exactly alike. Patience and diligence is all we really have.

Goodluck to all of us! I'm really glad this topic is still active. Anyway, I sent the I-129f package last Feb. 22, they received it Feb. 25, I received the NOA1 through email/text today, Feb.28, so it only took them 3 days. :) Now, I'm waiting for the hard copy and patiently(???) waiting for NOA2. Here's to wishing that all of us will have a smooth journey and no RFEs! I hope we all continue to update one another.

So what are you guys doing to prepare for everything that's ahead of you even at this very early stage? I've been researching into the other steps, but also trying to work out future budget and living arrangements with my American Fiance. I was just wondering if you all had any other things to do to help pass the time quicker.
