We got an email & text today saying "On July 22, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

We still never got an email, text or hard copy in the mail regarding our NOA2 but i don't really care anymore! At least our paperwork is on the move. I may just get the packet 3 info before I leave for the US on the 6th Sept! Fingers crossed!

It seems like the 5 month mark is dead on the money regarding time for processing etc. Those that are still waiting, be patient (says the most impatient person ever). Hang in there, they seem to be plugging through them now.

congratulations! ;)

Guys, we got our NOA2!!!! smile.png)

After a period of frustration and tears (I bet you all realized it)... My fiancé had a meeting with his congressman's assistant today, he told me they talked a lot and it was really good, the guy seemed to be willing to help and so they went to the congressman's office and his assistant called USCIS (TSC), he gave them our case number and talked for awhile. When he hung up the phone he said our case had been assigned to an officer and they said it could take 30 days for a decision, but the assistant said it usually takes one week when he requires a position from USCIS... About 6 hours later my fiancé got a text and email.

It can be just a coincidence, but it doesn't hurt to try. Contact your congressman or senator!!

PS. I had checked it an hour before and I just couldn't believe it...

congratulations! :)

My timmy contacted uscis today..the person who talked to him said that we just passed our 5th month...took our info and as usual...uscis told him to call again after 2 weeks...

Is this already similar to e request or should i ask him to do it too...

I think my hunnie is contacting senators right now too... Im just really trying to be heard all over now hahaha, as i am really wanting him beside me soon...

Told my sister if uscis deny us then fine, i will just ask timmy to come to the philippines...i know he wont let me down...

If its the will of God that i stay here, i would wholeheartedly accept it as long as i will have timmy beside me....

February 6th filer here. Passed the 5 month mark on July 6th. Contacted USCIS multiple times, put in an e-request as well. The response below is what I received via email, which basically says "ya we know, it will get done when it gets done." Don't count on them doing the job they outlines on their site. This system was designed with serious flaws and you can't navigate a maze of incompetence very well.

Official reply from CSC regarding "beyond processing times" e-request on July 24th 2013.

"We recognize and understand your interest in adjudicative action on your pending petition. While we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for adjudication, please know that your case will be pulled and routed to the appropriate unit for review as soon as is available."

Again, it essentially says, "ya ya ya, we will get to it when we get to it. Our governmental system in action people. This $#%! "runs" our country. No wonder we are in such a sad state!

I read a forum wherein usc contact uscis and requested for a tier 2 csr.... This is bc tier 1 representatives have limited access on our cases and cant really see our full data...

Another thing... A friend of ours(former lawyer of a govt firm) said that Its better to contact your state representative as senators are busier... Call them over the phone and ask for their staffs that handles immigration cases...
