Saw a filer that got approved.....(july 10ish which means early march-april) filer...this really is frustrating me....all the numbers around mine...like literally..... Already have an approval or rfe... It makes me soo worried... We are hoping that i could enter usa by late sept or oct for our nov wedding.... Does it affect that i had a j1 visa before and that my sis is a u.s citizen from the same state? Sighhhs....

Don't stress yourself too much on this very frustrating situation. We have the same plan of getting married in November and right now the only thing we can do is wait and have faith. Don't think too much girl! God will make a way in his perfect time. Cheer up! Smile :)

Hate to bring bad news, but the NVC is taking up to 8 weeks to process your petition after it is approved. If that is the case, don't expect to be finished before December. Plan on a winter wedding. I'm in the same boat. February 6th and watching March and April petitions sail past. That's government in action for ya. Incompetent. Can't even go in linear order. You're telling me that a bunch of March petitioners have difficult petitions so they skipped to April, while February and earlier wait? All adds up to how government works here. Sad but true.

I have posted here on before regarding this (but i will just repeat it :) ) - we got a call from the GA Congressman's office saying we got approved on the 8th July. Nothing is still updated or mailed out. I got my fiance to call the USCIS to get some sort of confirmation. It has indeed been approved, but it just appears to hang around in USCIS limbo. Do they ship them off to the Visa Processing Centre in batches or something every fortnight or more? The process is so vague and infuriating as to how to track or follow up the process.

I am leaving on the 6th Sept to see my fiance for 2 1/2 months. I was hoping that my packet 3 would be here before i left so we could lodge most of it and coordinate a consulate interview for when i get back to Australia in November. Is this a bit of wishful thinking though? I have organised my medical and police report in the coming month and just need the packet details for everything else. My fiance can obviously progress through his paperwork at his end while I am there.

i dont think it would take 8 weeks even though they say that, ive seen many vjers feb filers and jan filers it took 2weeks-1 monthfor nvc to receive the case. thats still pretty long but hey! for those who got their noa2 atleast we wont have to worry whether or not our case has been denied!

The NVC issue is with those who were transferred to Texas, who are indeed having a difficult time right now. Our petition went from NVC to the embassy in 8 days and other people were similarly fast. Also, in our case, it was transferred electronically--no Fedex tracking. NVC's official response is "10 to 20 days," but it doesn't seem to ever take that long.

It's true that Texas transfers are having a hard time right now, but let's put things in perspective instead of generalizing and making other people upset needlessly. Waiting for NOA2 is nerve-racking enough without the doomsday gossip.

This is true. Guys, if you were not transferred to Texas, you have "nothing" to worry about. You should thank God you were not transferred cause your time is coming soon... But if some of you have been transferred, I do recomend to face the truth and realize that a November Wedding is hardly possible! (in our case, our time is getting farther instead of sooner). We were planning on a november wedding too and we even got a little excited when we were transferred 'cause the VSC was horrible during the time our case was there, now Texas is even worse!! We have no idea when we'll receive the noa2 and even after we receive it, it's known that NVC won't work on it for at least 1 month!! After a lot of research we came to the conclusion that a november wedding would be impossible (for us) and now we are thinking about December or (most likely) January :(

Thank you. I need that positivity... :) For now i don't think that much of NOA2 coz i am more excited of seeing my fiance soon in Brazil again. But i am still hoping that will have it hopefully before the month ends. Good luck to all of us! ;)

I happy that you get to see your fiancé! That's exiting and something to look forward to :)

I stand corrected, but seeing CSC process March and April the last few weeks, I still do not hold any confidence in the system behind this process. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst and definitely do not make any concrete plans until the visa is approved. Just my advice to reduce nail biting.

Words to live by, I couldn't have said it better myself.

I know the wait is difficult, but it won't be forever (I know it's easier said than done). I hope everyone who hasn't received their noa2, will be approved soon!

So I was not transfered, and I have still heard nothing from Vermont! I keep seeing everyone here, and march/april filers approved, having interviews.. and here we sit still waiting for NOA2... I did just get back to the states after a 2 month visit in UA with my Fiance but in so many ways it just made it harder to come home and be separated again.. and to come home and read that all these filers after me have been approved frustrates me to no end! someone please tell me we are not the only ones still waiting that was not transferred!
