For the two who got apparent approvals without notices, first of all, congratulations...second, I was getting texts and emails at the beginning and by the end of my time with USCIS I was only getting emails. I've heard many people at different times not getting any notices and the NOA2 showing up in the mail so it does happen. Have either of you checked your status online at the uscis website? What is the status there? Hopefully you are both honestly approved and if so, you should have a hard copy of your NOA2 next week sometime if all is normal. Hopefully the rest of your journey is smoother than the first part.

We have had emails in the past backed up with mail. The last notification we received was on 21st June in regards to our file being transferred from Vermont to Texas. That was via email first the day after it was officially dated on the actual postal letter.

I have been checking the USCIS website for the last week daily. The status just says 'in progress' still, even as of today!

I have noticed that quite a few of the VSC/TSC transfers have gotten that message, and I think it was because there was a delay between approval and shipping to NVC. Most cases are just shipped directly after the approval and thus no message. My case, for instance (CSC) was shipped to NVC, assigned a case number, shipped off to London and received there, where they mailed my fiancee the "packet 3" letter of instructions, and my USCIS status is still saying approved.

I am just curious - how long did it take from your NOA2 until your case was sent to NVC? Also how long did it take for your fiance to receive the Packet 3? I am just kind of trying to weigh up if i should be pushy on my fiance to chase this up so we can get moving on a chunk of it before I leave to visit him in the US. I really want to get as much prepared and/or sent off as possible before I visit so that the consulate interview can be set up for my return home.

We still have not received our NOA2 notice (no email, text, USCIS website update etc) but that being said we only had the call from the Congressman's office on the 12th. I just don't really want to sit around and wait to find out if we had been a bit forthright with USCIS we could have got things moving swifter.

My fiance did call USCIS and they had confirmed our approval too which is more frustrating - just nothing at all has happened since the apparent approval on the 8th.
