Thank you so much, I feel so confused and depressed. I'm glad I found this site, if not I'd probably already gone insane. I wish the best of luck to everyones journey.

Hi guys. First post on VJ. My 129-F was accepted February 1st at the Vermont center, but I haven't heard anything yet. I keep checking the website but nothing has changed since February 5th, where it says the alien registration number has changed relating to my petition.

I was planning on an October 5th wedding, but as the days tick by I wonder if I made a mistake. I think I better change the date. Even if the petition is miraculously approved tomorrow what are the chances of everything wrapping up before October? My fiance is from Japan.

02/01/2013 - Notified via e-mail that the petition had been accepted

02/05/2013 - Notified the alien registration number has been changed

07/01/2013 - USCIS website page for my case updated - K1 Petition Approved, NOA2 mailed

07/15/2013 - Visa paperwork arrived at NVC

07/23/2013 - Visa paperwork arrived at U.S. Embassy in Tokyo - Packet 3 mailed

08/12/2013 - Interview at U.S. Embassy scheduled for 9:00 a.m. - APPROVED!!!!
08/29/2013 - Flight booked for U.S.

10/05/2013 - Wedding date planned

Hi, like you say, even if you get approved this month, it will take about 1 month to the Embassy interview. Obtaining police certificate will take about 2 weeks after you get the NOA2 so that you could present it at the police office.

Also, i read some posts here that recently file transfers from Service Centers to NVC got slower than before.

See VJ stats: Avg. Days between I-129F NOA2 and Consulate Receiving (NVC Processing Phase)

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php

NOA2 this month, interview in August, moving to the US in September-- how much do you think is the chance?

Really hope your plan will be served, at the same time, advisable to precisely weigh the time...

Best of luck !!!

Recieved hard copy of the rfe on Friday which ended up being great as my fiancé found out on Thursday that he had to leave the country and won't be back until July 8th. So I went down for the weekend (yay!!!) so I could sign the revised letter of intent, and was able to sneak in a visit before he left. Revised letters sent today, hopefully received by uscis on Tuesday or Wednesday. Fingers crossed that we get noa2 shortly after that!

Looks like CSC is moving slow now. Last week they only have few approvals. I hope they will not be like what they were couple months ago when they were not moving and some days there were no approvals. Tomorrow is another day and hoping to hear from them. Good luck to all of us.

With mine, they received my RFE on June 12 and I had a decision on June 20th, others have been similar from between 10 and 20 days from receipt of RFE at CSC to approval. Hopefully if they get your RFE today or tomorrow, you could very possibly have your approval before your fiance returns July 8th.

Feb. 2013 filer as well.

Last June 21, we check our results and it was transferred to the Local USCIS

praying and hoping for the good result

Godbless us all everyone!

Your case may be different from others, but I've read from quite a few others that they've received similar messages but their file actually went to Texas. You may already know that, but I thought it might be worth looking into if you hadn't heard about them.

Best of luck to you

Yes. CSC has slowed significantly. It is painful watching late February and March filers get approved while we wait for some indication that someone has looked at our petition that we filed February 6th. Of course, it is in the hands of the government and I do not expect any logical or rational execution in paperwork, like going in chronological order. The whole system is a cruel joke. My heart goes out to those who have been waiting since mid 2012. Its a shame it takes so long to look at paperwork and stamp the damn packet. At least have the courtesy to execute on a "first come first served" basis. Frustrating as hell knowing these monkeys are in charge of my petition. Let's hope this banana break doesn't last too long.

Right. It's really frustrating that they are slowing down. Feb 7 here but still haven't heard anything from them. I just hope that this week we will have our approvals too. Good luck to all of us.

Much agreed. Yes, I hope we all get some fortunate news soon. NOA2 limbo is ridiculous.

We already planned when we had vacation last 2 weeks in Shanghai that if we reached our 5 months and we still don't have approval then we will ask assistance from congressman.

So I just hope that we don't need to make extra effort to get NOA2.

That's our next step too! Shortly after yelling and kicking stuff. rofl.gif I hope we don't have to go that route either, but at least it gives us something to do in response to negligence.
