I just received the following email.

On June 21, 2013, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

What does this mean? Good, bad?

Was just coming to update Jo's and my status on this as well. We just received the same email! My guess is that it's going to the Texas Lockbox to be redistributed to a local office to have the case taken over since that's what appears to have happened to the Dec-Jan filers earlier.

Hoping for the best!

Actually those didn't go to local offices, Texas is now adjudicating those. They were sent towards the end of May and are just starting to see adjudications this week, so my guess would be if you guys got the notice today, by the time they get you to Texas and get you into the system, they should start adjudicating by mid July. I'm hoping this is when they will be finished with the first batch they received from VSC in May. I'd say you guys are probably looking at getting adjudicated sometime in July.

I really hope they get through them extra fast for all of you

Just went looking in the Jan 2013 filers thread and looks like I may be mistaken on the details. It doesn't appear to be going back to the Dallas lockbox, it's moving to the Texas Service Center.

Cheers!

Edit: Thanks for the confirmation UK-USA-K1!

Just checked the 9 eac numbers I have been following all 9 transferred

seems there's a thread about that's been started. Seems to be eerily similar to the May issue where VSC transferred a bunch to Texas to be processed. Those took 3 weeks to get started. My guess would be that Texas would want to get through those before getting to yours, so hopefully those from May all get adjudicated quickly so they can start working on this batch.

I have no idea what's going on with Vermont. I guessed sending the first batch would get them caught up and they'd just work from there, but apparently not. I sure wish they were more transparent about what's going on at these service centers

Does this imply if you stay at VSC your chances improve, since they now have a smaller workload, hence may get to your case faster?

We have not been transferred.

For your sake, I certainly hope it does, but honestly, I don't know what to think. I thought they would have transferred enough cases to be caught up when they did so in May. I'm a bit surprised at this second batch being transferred. I do hope Vermont gets it's act together and gets these cases all adjudicated soon
