I posted a few days ago that I saw the case status before mine getting approved.

I decided today to check the status right after I woke up, to my surprise! NOA1 was 14/2/2013 (a week short of 4 months)

On June 6, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

But we haven´t gotten a txt or an email. Just waiting for the written one by mail next week.

Congratulations! :) we hope that our NOA2 will come soon too. For now we are just enjoying our time together here in Shanghai, China. We are crossing our fingers and praying.

Good luck on the rest of your journey. :)

Make sure to check out the bar on the 86th floor in Jim Mao tower. Great view.

Thanks! I'll tell my fiance maybe we can go there tonight. We are actually planning to go to the highest building here in Shanghai and also to Hard Rock Café to buy shirt coz I collect it. Then on the holidays hopefully we can go to Great Wall of China. :)

NOA1 for me was Feb 14th and I got a text and email yesterday that said our I129F was approved. Now the status meter is sitting at, "Post Decision Activity."

I was out grocery shopping yesterday when I got the text. I got so excited I forgot to buy half of the stuff I needed because I wanted to rush home and see what the status change was.

Now I'm just waiting on that letter and wondering what the heck I'm supposed to do now. lol

Thanks! :)

As far as the health check goes, is there a period of validity? When my fiancee applied for citizenship in Taiwan in January she had to go for a health check then too. So would she be able to use her health check from then or would she have to have it done again? I have a feeling that it's different in various countries so she may or may not be able to use her previous health check.

I'm currently in California and she's still in Taiwan and when she goes in for her interview what sorts of documentation would she need? More specifically, what sorts of documentation would she need to bring of me? I'm hoping this would all be in that letter I'm waiting on but I'm too excited to wait another day, lol. I understand that we still have at least another 2 or 3 months but how many more steps are there between now and then?

By the way, I'm so glad I found this website. I actually didn't stumble upon this until after I had sent in my petition. So much valuable information and such a tight nit group of people that are all in similar situations.

Thanks!

VSC hence EAC

All info in my profile.

Didn't expedite.

Not from any of those countries.. But from Panama, as far as I know we've never had major immigration issues with the US. In fact we might be on the lowest rankings of nationalities/countries that immigrate to the US.

I don't know if that affects anything.
