Ah! Oh god. I woke up this morning, checked my email as I always do and saw one from USCIS, I just figured it was something to do with the account as I had to re-open it recently due to inactivity, but NOPE. Our approval came on the 4th!

We filed on the 15th Feb, NOA1 dated on the 21st Feb, no RFEs....103 days. It feels unfair to those still waiting from long ago. Stick with it guys, your time will come.

It may not be fair, but it's definitely not of your doing. It is what it is. Each of us will get ours in due time, just some may take a bit of extra diligence.

Congrats, now that you got yours, can you tell them it's ok to process mine?

Your NOA1 date is about a week before ours was, I reckon yours will be this month. I'm utterly shocked to have it this early, we weren't expecting to be done with the entire process until at least Christmas up until a few weeks ago when CSC started speeding up, then it switched to a sort of "Well I guess if they DO mean 5 months then we'll be at mid-July" and even that seemed too optimistic..but then this!

Good luck to everyone else though, especially those who're still waiting well over 5 months.

Well I finally got my status update. She forgot to mail her intent to marry statement, so she scanned me a copy which I sent in. I hoped it would skate through, but I got an RFE. I have the original sitting in my file with the other documents, so now I get to wait for the hard copy of the RFE to show up and mail it in. I hope that's all it was anyway. At least it's something.

On June 5, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed.

Since I never requested such, I called. They said it's just a "glitch" in the system. I did a quick search here on VJ and other people have had the same experience. Some said they received the NOA2 shortly after seeing thsi "glitch," but that may just be incidental.

Could be a simple glitch, or it could be a glitch tied to the fact that someone has at least "touched" your case. Hopefully it's the latter and they get you adjudicated soon. It's really hard to even try to guess what's going on in Vermont right now.

Aye, that is another possibility. I'm not too excited over it and I won't rile up my fiancee and mother about it. It was nice enough to wake up with a text from USCIS.

I actually didn't get a text like I expected, but I checked my email and there was a mail from them about my RFE. Made my heart race just seeing it was from them, even though I knew it could just be an RFE

I'm sure you know the feeling.....the only way to get through the process it so prepare every last detailed. I dare say if we were all half as prepared when we filed as we are after the first few weeks on this site, RFE would be rare. I knew I may have an issue with it, but if I waited for her to mail it over and then send in the application I'd be a week behind. This puts me a few more weeks behind that, but with the risk that it may have gone through. I felt it was worth the risk at the time (my impatience getting the best of me) and it is coming back to bite me. I really do hope that is all it is, and it is. I won't be overly surprised if they lost something and need copies of something else completely, but I have copies of pretty much everything I sent them. A few things, like her boarding passes and such I have stored electronically, but I can print them on a moments notice.

Same. I have copies of anything and everything, most also backed up electronically. Update us once your RFE has been settled. Well, no need to update me, actually, since I'm already following your timeline.

Seen a january filer that got approved from vermont... Said they asked help from senator(maryland) then 2 days later, got their noa2.... Makes me wonder should we do the same too? It really makes me happy to see most of filers getting approved but at the same time gets sad because others(including me) want to have our approvals as well.oh God, please help us...

Just checked at our status and we received a rfe today kind of nervous as to what it could be .is this common?.it says they mailed it 5th June .so I'm guessing we should expect it real soon?
