David,

Thanks for putting that in perspective. Do you know of any resources which list out precisely which immunizations are needed?

I see. If that is the case, hopefully the tide will turn.

Honestly, I'd check out the Regional China forum for country specific details. I know that in my personal case, my fiancee is from the UK and I found through the forum here that they do not have the Chicken Pox vaccination in the UK, but you say you had the Chicken Pox and they take your word for it. Some of the vaccinations may or may not be available to you depending on your country and you may need to get some done here. Below I've posted a link to the USCIS page that lists the vaccination requirements to immigrate, but you'll need to reference your individual country to see if you can get them all there. If not though, don't worry, although it's easier to do them ahead of time and just bring the records with you, you can still pay to have them done here before you adjust status, it's just more time and money at a later date.

There's a new thread in the Service Center forum where people are posting saying they got new notices today saying their case has been transferred to their local offices. My guess is that VSC sent a bunch back to the Texas facility where we all originally filed and they in turn, are processing and sending them to each individual local office for adjudication.

Here's the link:

True, you'll be able to have immunization done either at your local doctor or at a consulate-designated clinic at health-checkup.

One thing though, it's better for your body to have one or two vaccination a month.

Plus, some vaccinations will prohibit you to become pregnant for 6 months. So maybe a factor to consider.

The best way to find out inoculation requirement is to call the consulate-designated clinic once you decide which one to go.

They will give you exactly which shots are needed. It even varies depending on the clinic you attend.

Once you decide to have shots before the checkup (should be cheaper), you could go to your local doctor and have him give you certificates of vaccination with lot numbers of vaccines.

Then at check-up with designated clinic, you can present those certificates. rolleyes.gif

Hi,

Hard copy NOA1 arrived on Feb 8 2013 and we think that it was a standard time since we filed on Jan 31 2013.

Now you can see that about 12 people out of 114 registered in Vj database have already got their NOA2 - I mean the february only filers.

It seems that with all the technology available to USCIS they probably still spade shovel the forms and envelops that we have sent with such sentiment. How can you explain that the most recent NOA2s come fron nov '12 and feb '13? The old ones intermingled with almost the most recent ones? How about one haitian couple that got NOA2 after just 3!!? It seems that uscis employee stumbled upon a can of coca-cola and and smashed his face on their file...

I sympathize here with all the posters who instead of cursing like me pray to get their NOA2 soon.

Pawel
