OK i just found out about CRBA on this forum my wife just gave birth to our son 4 weeks ago in the STATES do i need the CRBA ? IM cofused can anyone explain so i can understand plizzzzzzz

Only if the child was born abroad . You say your wife gave birth in the U.S. so you would not need to file one.

If you are a U.S. citizen and the parent of a child born out of the United States, you will need to document your child's U.S. citizenship with a Consular Report .
