hello, I am confused about the payments:

here is the payments we are going to send with the application:

$ 395 ... that is the I-485 application fee plus fingerprinting fee (i just put them on one money order?)

$ 180 ... that is a seperate money order for the I-765 (EAD application)

$ 170 ... that is a seperate money order for the I-131 (travel document application)

did I miss any payments or are these correct?

as far as I know i will have a biometric appointment for the AOS and also for the EAD and if I am lucky I can have them both at the same time. now I was wondering: why is there no extra fee for the fingerprinting for the EAD? is there none or did I miss it?

hoping to get all this stuff mailed out in the next days,

thank you for your advice.

Thank you VisaJourney

that looks about right...

they dont charge an extra biometrics fee for the EAD (unless you are applying for that on its own) as one should do all, even though some people have had to go in a couple of times for their biometrics.

For the AOS biometric they take all 10 fingers and palm prints and photos.

For the EAD I think it is just 2 fingerprints.

best wishes

kim&james,

Point of clarification: there's no biometrics fee for the EAD under any circumstance. The biometrics fee applies only to the set of 10 fingerprints and photo that goes into the fancy data storage/retrieval system (don't know if they've got the retrieval part working yet!) and is sent to the FBI for background checking
