Wow, reading all posts regarding the medical at st.lukes freaks me out.. I'm waiting for my husband's interview schedule.. before he has his medical.. now im worried he might have positive results for the TB test.. . it would just suck big time if that would be the case.. and the sad part is you cant do anything about it.. i had a TB positive before and had my 6 months treatment, but it was here in the US when i did the treatment. I wish they could do the same if TB is latent anyway..

I dont thinki they will give u that option , i heard from friends who had tested positive with Tb that they had their treatment here in the US. I believe they dont do that anymore its either have the treatment at st lukes for 6 months or have it outside st lukes for 6 months treatment + 1 yr evaluation...

Hello all, my father went through a sputum test and was told to call St. lukes on Feb 20 unfortunately he got a call from St. Lukes asking him to come back Feb 5 for pulmonary evaluation. I dont know what that means but I read that when the hospital call you its not a good sign.

Now my mom postponed her vaccination because we want both parents to be interviewed the same day/time but looks like thats not going to be the case. Maybe I will ask my mom to go ahead with her vaccination and go to her interview alone.

Going back to my dad, he has an annual physical/ medical exam for work purposes in fact he had medical/physical a week before his medical at st lukes and he is fine no signs of tb nothing he is indeed a healthy man. Anyway, is it true that if he has to be treated it would be 6 months everyday to st lukes? My parents are from Mindanao and I read some post stating that St. Lukes allow patient to be treated in their local hospital as opposed to having the treatment at st lukes but it could take 18 months??? Hope somebody that went through the same scenario could give me feedback on this.. It is very stressful! Thank you very much...

how's your Dad na?
