My wife is from Negros Occidental down in Himamaylan... We also anticipate waiting in Manila this whole time. It sounds expensive sitting in a hotel for two weeks waiting.

If you are in Manila it can take a week or so (ours took 8 days and was delivered to 2GO on a Friday night which meant my wife couldn't get her CFO sticker until Monday). Outside of Manila you are probably looking at up to two or three weeks. It is important to remember that even though they may 'approve' you at the interview there is one last stage of verification that is done after the interview and they can send your case to AP if questions arise. If you attend the CFO seminar prior to getting the visa you can just go back to get the sticker when you get your visa. The queue can be a bit long even for just the sticker so plan accordingly.
