If moneys a bit tight then file the EAD first and save for the AOS.

Shop around for a good /cheap Doctor to complete any shots and make sure you get the records of having done so... then go to a CS and get the I693a vaccination supplement filled out...

Your medical is good for one year so you have until 10/17/2007 to file for AOS, but you will need proof of having all the shots hence the new vacc supp from the CS in your area.

Depends what kind of visa your husband came in on - it doesn't say in your profile.

If your husband is a K1, any EAD he applies for before filing for the AOS (ie: filing the I-485) will expire on the same day as his I-94 from entry. He will then be ineligible to work until you have received the EAD based on his status as a pending adjustment case. In order to get a 1-year EAD, your husband must file in category C9 - alien pending adjustment of status. Until the I-485 is filed, he does not count as pending adjustment and so has no basis for a 1-year EAD.

If your hubby is a K3, all bets are off and I can't help you!

Good luck!
