On January 2, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Finally!!! just got approved...Received 2 texts @ 6:25pm and when I went to the uscis website, this is what I saw! After 10mos and 9days of waiting. Thank you Jesus!!!

Thank you guys!!! and for everybody still waiting, your day will come!!! what a sweet day it is... I still have some more waiting to do. Hopefully all these waiting will be over soon. Good luck to us all and should I say God bless us all. Certainly test our faith and beliefs... As I was about to lose it, ( was freaking out yesterday morning) I got an answer by noon and a confirmation late in the afternoon. So don't lose hope guys, your day is coming....

Where did they transfer you to? They have been handing out the dumbest RFE's Almost like they are buying time.

I don't know where we were transferred. Once when I called, they said we had been transferred back in April but they weren't allowed to tell me to what office because that office has to contact me to let me know. (That is totally ridiculous) And while I was on the phone with her, another Lvl 2 person was calling me, so when I switched over and was talking to her, she said my packet had never been transferred and only just looked at in October. I don't understand at all what is going on, and it really does feel like they are just biding time.

We resubmitted the 6 page documents for our marriage about a month ago and still nothing. On the RFE they sent, it said we had until Feb 2nd to respond, I'm hoping that doesn't mean they are waiting until Feb 2nd to look at our file again.

Ugh. This wait is ridiculous.

ahhhh finally.. I guess it comes when you least expect it !! but yaaay!

For everyone still waiting .. I looked up the email address for TSC and sent them an email one week ago asking for an update, and I told them how long we have been married, and our priority date etc.. They never responded besides the email receipt conf... and I received approval email tonight 10 pm..I don't know if that made a difference or not..kicking.gif

Ahhhh!! The day after complaining about how everything was taking so long WE GOT OUR APPROVAL!! The notice says we were approved on Jan 6th, but it did not arrive at the home until Jan 10th and also has a Jan 10th date stamp on the notice. Weeeee!!! Feeling so blessed! Incredibly happy to finally be moving forward.

Now to update my timeline. haha

I can report that our I-130 was approved today, after 10 months and 19 days (no RFE's). A belated present from the federal government.

It was moved to TSC around Oct. 25th after a service request. We also got the 60 day promise nonsense when it was moved, and unsurprisingly they missed the mark. So our lawyer called the USCIS last night, upon which they gave a loose estimate of "within 60 days". The application was approved a few hours later. I'm not sure if there's any correlation between the two, but it cant hurt to try and call the USCIS for those of you who are still waiting.
