Does anyone has any information about this issue, or it’s still early?
Official information from the conference, …?
Thank you

I listened to this conference and the subsequent Q&A. Basically, I-129F for K3 is pointless, but if you have one pending you should email Public.Engagement@uscis.dhs.gov with info about your case so they can make an inquiry for you.

Yesterday called and got a service request for expedited service. Got approved today. No idea what the cause was, but you do not have to get transferred to get approved apparently. I am SOOOO hopeful that you others get approved soon, it has been way to long for all of us.

Good luck and all the best!
So the main rule is there are NO rules. :))) And the most precise answer from calling USCIS is … we will get to you when we get to you. :)))

Thank you. We applied only months ago for K3 because honestly previously we didn’t have a clue that exist. So we thought if processing times go higher it’s ok to apply for it, if they approve I-130 sooner even better.
In mean time I read it so many different opinions about K3 so I was curious about the slowing story that circulating. It’s logical for me to tie both of them but only as a common file from petitioner, not to process them in the same time or that the one will put away the other one. That was my question is there was some explanation about that.
Well, thank you for your advice, but we’ll take a little break from sending letters and inquiries for now because we had already done that too many times.

They did state that I-129F and I-130 will be joined up and processed together. The way they spoke, these I-129F people seemed unaware of the delay in I-130 processing, quoting the identical 5 month processing goal for each petition etc. There was no explanation of why the K3 isn't being processed independently now that there's such an awful backlog for IR1/CR1. I wish they'd said something of more use to all the frustrated folks here, but hang in there. Fingers crossed that your approval is on its way any day now :)

Hi Everyone,

Well after 9 months of tooing and frooing from NBC to Chicago and back again and then to Nebraska on 20th Oct our staus finally changed today to this:

On November 22, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.

Reading another post where this happened to a Feb filer on the 20th they were approved the next day!!!
