This is so freakin nuts!! Just yesterday the case status feature said it was transferred to local office. I just checked it a minute ago and said it was transferred to another uscis office!! I can't believe what this government agency is doing to us people. It should be illegal what they are doing... WTFFFFFF

I saw the same thing as you all - re: case being transferred. Today, in the mail, I got two things. First, a transfer notice saying that my I-130's going from Missouri to Nebraska. Interestingly enough, exactly 9 months (to the day) from them accepting my I-130. I also got a supplemental notification that 'If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from the service center within 60 days, please call Customer Service.' So, since it's in writing, this means that I get to raise all hell come December 21...right?!

One girl on another forum got three updates as well, first two about transfers to local offices and the third- to Nebraska.

I think it is possible that these "local office" updates are just mistakes on USCIS's part.. As always- we'll need to wait and see.

It seems that USCIS was simply too lazy to update their old message from their old practice of sending files to field offices. You should soon get a message correcting that. Pardon them. Our committee quickly forced them into action, and they simply were not ready. Maybe. tongue.png
