Whatever they say, just a bunch of lies. I just called and totally a different answer for me. It has been almost seven months for me of waiting. I wish we could have some sort of leg to stand on with these people. I think they are all a bunch of b*** s*** artists.

Did they give you any timeframe?

I sympathize with all who are waiting on UCSIS since February. This is way too long.

First, I would recommend that you read the q and a between a former USCIS adjudicator that was posted here on VJ some 5 years ago...I don't have the link at hand but search "adjudicator q and a" by HUSKERKIEV and you will find it. It will explain how petitions go through the process, how adjudicators are rated for their efficiency....i.e. they would rather approve 10 easy petitions per day than 5 complicated ones (my interpretation), how country of origin plays no part, etc. A great insight.

Second, consider getting your Congressman or Senators to inquire on your behalf ! Many on this sight have posted that they consider this to be a useless effort....but if you read the HUSERKIEV post you will change your mind. But don't be frivolous....if you filed in February you should have been out of USCIS in 6 months...if it has been longer than that contact your Congressman or Senator. If you had only been there for 3 months, a Congressional isn't going to get you to the head of the line, it is not a substitute for an expedite, but if your approval is overdue then it can help.

I was lucky with a pretty quick USCIS approval...but when NVC had not received it after 30 days, I contacted my US Senators office and they found my approved petition sitting in the local field office of the USCIS...and got the promise that it would be at the NVC in 2 weeks.....it was there 1 week later (even though I didn't know that for another week).

I think that every Feb filer here should be enlisting the aid of their Congressman or US Senators.

So, I went to my second InfoPass appointment today... and guess what - I wasn't even let past the lady after the security check. She claimed that they couldn't do anything for me, and that I should write to the address at the bottom of my NOA1 and tell them that I haven't heard back. #######?!?!?! I felt so pathetic after waiting all day to go there, and then told by some lady with an accent who didn't even know proper english that the immigration officers wouldn't be able to help my case. Kind of feeling helpless... I know we all are at this point. Involving the Congressman and the Senators won't do much either - I tried both. It's like it is some conspiracy theory between all these gov't organizations and the more you bug them the more they get annoyed and the more they delay your case. Contacted the Ombudsman and received an automated response that they will get back to me within 45 days... what's with the damn numbered days?!?! Sorry guys, just feeling really low sad.png I miss my husband!!! It's been 7 months already waiting for a NOA2... God knows how much longer this will take and then the NVC stage... more waiting?!?!?! I'm ready to pull my hair out.

I have also been waiting almost seven months for NOA2. I made an info pass appointment as well and that was a waste of my time. They could not assist me with my petition. I can not believe what the USCIS does about the processing of our petitions. I even called the senator and congressmen and they made an inquiry on my behalf and could get anywhere as well. These people are ruining my life . #######. Good luck to you.....

I am wondering when I will be able to start our life together here in America. The way the uscis is processing our petition who knows when we we will be able to do just that. I wish there was a way I could just move to the Philippines to be with my wife. What is scary is if something happens to me my wife would not be able to see me here. Thank you USCIS!!!!!!!

What?! This is outrageous!! I think you should really find a way to complain about it. I wonder if it's possible to find out who is head of your particular field office and stuff and just complain to them. How can they even do this??

I'm the beneficiary.
