Off topic, my husband and I are planning to have a "bridge" theme for our U.S. wedding for a variety of reasons, one being we met in the city of bridges. :dancing:

That's a cute idea! The English friend I mentioned earlier took her husband to visit her family back in August, and they had a wedding party with her family. She made these really neat center pieces for the tables at the party with little cards that had fun facts about her husband's country so that they would all have something to talk about with her husband as a conversation starter. I thought that was a really cute idea, too.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

Hello everyone, I confirm what Nola123 said: if you reside in the UK and are a European citizen, your USC husband can get a Visa for 'Spouse of a European citizen'. The visa is free (only sending costs) and is approved in 3 we,eks.

We did that for my husband whilst I finished my degree in Manchester.

LucidSofia, can you still ot acces your info on USCIS website nzither? Im getting a little worried....

Nope, I still can´t access my info on the USCIS website. I wouldn´t worry about it, like it says: "expect a 45 day delay.."

Hey! Good luck to us! According to UPS, my package should arrive in Phoenix tomorrow. So nervous! Keep you posted. Hope all of us February filers, will be active in posting updates in this forum. So we can get a feel for whats happening. Afterall, I am not good at waiting.

The I-130 was signed for on Friday, February 22nd at the Phoneix courier office. Usually people get NOA1 notification by 2-3 days after the courier office signs for the package.

Still waiting on the electronic NOA1 notification.

Hey guys,

The I-130 was signed for on Friday, February 22nd at the Phoneix courier office. Usually people get NOA1 notification by 2-3 days after the courier office signs for the package.

Still waiting on the electronic NOA1 notification.

When I sent my package at the beginning of the month, I panicked about the same thing when I did not receive NOA1 after 3 days. People reassured me that it can take 7-10 days to get the NOA1....and 7 days later I received a text/email! So no worries!

12/30/2012 Got married!

02/01/2013 Sent I-130 via Priority Mail USPS

02/05/2013 NOA1 Priority Date

04/09/2013 Called USCIS-informed by Tier 2 officer that my case was transferred to Washington D.C. on March 13

09/05/2013 NOA2

09/27/2013 NVC received case
