Well I know I'm very impatient...but from this type of organization I'd appreciate to know the truth. Why do they give us a customer service number for if they don't provide us any customer service?? oops8rh.gif

They do provide the best customer service ever existed: confusion, misinformation, panic, misleading and the list can go on forever.

Couldn't agree more. Very frustrating process to deal with at times. I just wish there was some progress at this point.

I recommend you guys be pro active and not limit to calling everyday. Get your congressman and senators involved . I did that when I started feeling that they were lagging and my file started moving. Now waiting for it to get to the embassy .

For me, I am calling every other week and making an infopass once a month. I already have the senator's office involved, not that makes this process run any faster but doesn't hurt to try.

I had been waiting to contact our senator, but I actually just did it. I'm going to see how this goes.

I got both senator and congressman offices involved , senator never did anything. Congressman before I called the guy that handled the immigration issues every week .

He called me and forward me all emails as he received them from uscis until he confirmed my package was at the nvc.

Still today I get emails from him asking how its going. I'm sure at least in my case it made a huge difference.

I've just contacted both of my senators and am going to be trying to contact my congressman later today if I can find a site for them. I hope that this helps my case even a little bit. Keeping my fingers crossed. It'd be nice to have someone actually helping like in your case with the nice guy.

any recent approvals ? i cant wait any more. sad.png

NYC.RSA dont forget to update and let us know how it goes .

@ annie1 & NYC.RSA, NO updates yet... I am following on this tread too for NYC.RSA's reply on infopass.

Hope we all get some reply soon.

So i went for my infopass yesterday at the federal plaza.

I got there a little after 7am. I waited a few minutes before i was called up to the counter. The lady who helped me was very polite.

She said the only information she can see on her computer is that my case was recieved the the nyc local office on the 25th of March and that till now my case has not been assigned to a case worker. Also, that they only woirk on 1-130 cases twice a week. Hence, the delay. Plus she said i wont believe how many cases they have waiting to be worked on. I asked if she can give me an estimate of how much longer it might take. She said she really cant say.

So that was about it. Didnt get much info from there..but hey at least now im certain that my case is in nyc local office.

What exactly does the service request do? Is it any different than talking to a tier 2 or infopass?
