So after being approved by USCIS on 04/17 and found out they had it approved just sitting and talking to an immigration agent and he confirmed they had my case approved and they could take up to 4 months to send it to the NVC. I reached my congressman and Senator 2 weeks ago and Today I received an email saying my case finally made it to the NVC!

uscis director emails me confirming they will follow up on it and will be at nvc by 6/6

my case never showed up online until it was approved

I got all my additional information by pressing on an IO or through an infopass

So impatient me decided to call USCIS yesterday to check the status on my case. I filed 02/22/13 with NOA1 of 02/25/2013. Ofcourse Tier1 was no help and transferred me to Tier2. Ironically the Tier2 rep was Indian!

Q. I don't see my case online..Whats going on?

A. Let me see..give me your details..your spouses' details..verification info..ah..i see it. yep..it shows active in our system. It wont show online because there is some issue with the online system and USCIS is aware.

Q. Follow up, well, its been a few months, you guys have been aware, but nothing has been done, why hasn't it been fixed?

A. Sir, as I said again USCIS is aware and it shows that your case is active, so shouldn't be a problem.

Q. What is the status of my case? Will it be transferred to the Phoenix field office? Is it currently being worked on? Is it on somone's desk?

A. NBC's current processing time is 4-6 months for I-130. And yours is in process and only been close to 3.5 months, so wait till mid July and I am pretty sure you will hear something back. ( I then asked whether it will be in PHX field office so i can take an infopass appt to be updated on status) Is your spouse living abroad? (I said yes) and he said then it won't be transferred, only if they need to interview anyone, then its normally transferred to a field office.

And that was it.. I guess I knew the answers, but I just decided to call anyways..Good luck to us all FEB filers for a quick approval!

Yes it did! Before I was not able to search my case ID! After it was approved I can pull up the info!

Yes, they approved my wife's I-130, but they have reconsidered our kids I-130s, which they initially approved. Evidentally, they decided that they weren't satified with either the birth certificates or the translations of the birth certificates. They sent an RFE to have originals with translations resubmitted. Note: I submitted originals with translations to begin with.

I've called every weekday afternoon since my wife's NOA2 and every time they tell me to wait at least 15 business days before calling again.

This goes against the info I received previously from someone else that ALL I-130 files are transferred to a field office (which I doubted). NBC retains the file until approved, then it goes to NVC for post-approval processing.
