I checked my status today online, and it showed me this message,

On May 21, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So Im guessing my application was approved. I was never able to view my status online. This was the first time, and I am still shocked. I hope its true, and i wont fuss about till i get the letter in the mail.

Anyways, do you guys know, what the next step would be? Thanks

Oh wow ! Good for you! Congrats, you are on your way... Yours got transferred to your local field office, mine stayed at NBC .. Dunno why.. I don't know if my local field office process 1-130 applications. It doesn't say on the website.

I posted this post elsewhere, but being a february filer, I thought it might be belong here and be helpful to others..

I filed feb 22nd and my case is at NBC. I can't see my case online so decided to call and check on the status.

After waiting on hold for 2 hours(assuming I talked to a Tier 2 rep), he told me that there is a "gleeetch" in the USCIS system that's not allowing the status to show online and that they are aware of it and working on it. He said to wait at least 2 more months before calling. He said average wait times are 4-5 months. He did assure me my case was in the system. Total waste of time calling these guys..didn't tell me anything I didn't know.

I just returned home from my Infopass appointment at the Dallas Field Office and I feel like it was a good one. My case is on the I-130 unit's supervisor's desk to be worked by her. It was there already which is very rare according to the IO that was assisting me. She said that the supervisor usually doesn't work cases. My IO spoke with the supervisor who said if there's nothing wrong with my case it should leave her desk soon. The IO couldn't offically say how long, soon would take, but she suggested that I start checking with the NVC and also for online updates in about a week. She also said if I didn't have an update by four weeks that I needed to call the 800 number or come back on another Infopass appointment. I'm making an appointment now to be sure that I have it near the four week point just in case.

I got sick of waiting for USCIS so I called my congressman....They wrote back and said I would get my USCIS decision within 7 days.... They even forwarded the USCIS reps email saying that processing should normally not take priority for 3-4 months more. I got noa1 on Feb20. I hope the senator trick works....

Anyone here aproved yet on thier I 130?? Mine been at nbc since fenlb 25 2013. It been 3 months now. Is this normal??

Yours was probably transferred to your local office about a week after they received it. You'll need to call the 800 number and ask for a Tier 2 Immigration Officer to confirm that. Then, if you want an update, you'll need to schedule an Infopass appointment at the local office.
