DS-160 Mistake

Hi Guys....i am freaking out right now....its saturday here so i cant call the US embassy for question..

My sister is helping my parent to fill their application...She first fill my dad form and print it...then theres a problem she put a wrong answer to "Purpose of Travel"...instead of putting temp.Visitor visa my sister put "parents of special mmigrant"..(i am not special immigrant i dont even know wha my sister thinking when she did that :-( )

We have the confirmation number now...but we havent paid the fee yet and havent set the interview....

will it be ok if they just redo application?

if it is...wll the form(mistake form) will gonna show up in US Embassy system?

Please help me guys....

You have a login and password to the DS-160 page so you can basically edit the form as many times as you want then print out the final form to bring to the embassy during the interview schedule. Good luck!

just want to know when u mean edit does it mean i fill up a or create a new application?in same confirmation number?and because the only 2 option there is verify confirmation or create a application?

I forgot how it looks but I think you just have to enter the confirmation number again and you will go back to the original application form you filled out. No need to create a new one.

thats the only option right now...go to confirmation page or create application...?

and another and last question..by applying my dad and mom...my mom will fill up her own application too right?with diff. confirmation?

Oh ok... You already click on the submit button. But you do not have a scheduled date yet, right?

So I guess you just need to create a new application. It's ok to create a new one. Just submit the one with the new confirmation number at the interview.

Don't worry about the old application.

Nobody would check it.

she said she dont know im already US citizen.... she didnt understand what and dont know what shes looking for....and forgot to save it first instead of confirming it..
