Also what is the best way to send pics? I plan on sending pics at NVC stage

Include them in the DS-230 package.

February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!

April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

First of all I will like to ask what the time frame for approval is? I filed in Nov

Also what is the best way to send pics? I plan on sending pics at NVC stage

Everyone seems to handle this differently. I burned all of mine onto a CD at the USCIS stage and sent them that way.I assume it worked, since my case was approved. I just sent another CD with more pictures with my DS-230 packet to the NVC. My husband will take hard copies with him to the interview. I also sent a burned copy of our wedding/reception video at the USCIS stage.

USCIS, NVC, and Consular personnel at the Embassy or Consulate will not view any electronic media. Your petition may have been approved by USCIS but rest assured the CD was not viewed by an adjudicator at USCIS and it will not be viewed by a CO.

Just scane your pics onto 8 X 11 paper w, 2 or more per page. Remember they have to scan into your case file file.

Please do not send as stated above CD it will never be looked at infact they toss those.

Don't waste their time or your time and money on that.

We sent 20 photos and 40 email correspondences as evidence of bona fide at USCIS stage. We didn't get any REF and it took 63 days for us to get our NOA2 since the day we sent in I130.

Hmmmm. Good to know, albeit a little late in my case. Fortunately, I also sent in a years worth of phone records at USCIS stage, and sent in additional documentation of our marriage (some chat logs, invitations sent to both of us, rental agreement updated to include him and our daughter, etc.) to the NVC, in addition to the picture CDs. No RFE's yet, so I guess I'll keep praying and hope they'll be willing to look at his hard copies at the interview.
