02/12/13: N-400 delivered

02/15/13: Email from USCIS

02/15/13: Check cashed

02/21/13: NOA received (Priority Date: 02/12/13 )

02/23/13: FP notice recd

02/25/13: FP Done (Actual FP was scheduled on 03/14/2013. I did a walk-in)

04/01/13: Received YL to bring my DL to the interview

04/08/13: In line for Interviewing scheduling

04/09/13: Interview Scheduled

06/03/13: Interview Date

06/03/13: Interview Done (Passed)

Finally! My wife is officially an American! It was a nice ceremony at the courthouse and it was really cool to see so many people from every corner of the world. We went to the social security office right afterwards to update her name and citizenship status. So relieved that all the years of dealing with USCIS are over!

Hey sciencenerd congratulations! If you get a chance will you make a thread for what it's like to go through the oath ceremony at the Portland office please? I haven't seen any. I'm in the July N-400 group going through Portland and another person is in the May thread also going through the Portland office. Thanks!

At the 90 day point (On July 8) from when my wife was placed in line for an interview we called USCIS. They told us they would follow up and we should expect an update within 15 days, and on July 10th the website showed Interview was scheduled and we just received the letter last week scheduled on 14 August.

Hoping now for a quick remaining journey...so jealous many of you guys are done!

At the 90 day point (On July 8) from when my wife was placed in line for an interview we called USCIS. They told us they would follow up and we should expect an update within 15 days, and on July 10th the website showed Interview was scheduled and we just received the letter last week scheduled on 14 August.

Hoping now for a quick remaining journey...so jealous many of you guys are done!

Congrats and sorry that it has taken so long! Good luck to your wife for her interview.

Got an email that I have been scheduled for my oath ceremony.

Congratulations!!. Can you please tell me details of your oath ceremony (place). I thought that San Antonio conducts oath ceremonies only on last Thursday of the month and I can see one scheduled on July 25th on texan cultures website. And I was expecting the next to be end of August. But on your timeline I see that yours is on August 6th.

If you go to this site http://www.txwd.uscourts.gov/calendars/MAGSA.PDF it will says when the oath ceremony is scheduled. They keep on updating that PDF regularly.

02/11/13: N-400 mailed to Lewisville, TX

02/12/13: N-400 delivered

02/15/13: Email from USCIS

02/15/13: Check cashed

02/21/13: NOA received (Priority Date: 02/12/13 )

02/23/13: FP notice recd

02/25/13: FP Done (Actual FP was scheduled on 03/14/2013. I did a walk-in)

04/01/13: Received YL to bring my DL to the interview

04/08/13: In line for Interviewing scheduling

04/09/13: Interview Scheduled

06/03/13: Interview Date

06/03/13: Interview Done (Passed)

It took us 5 days I think between when we got the notice my wife had been scheduled and when we got the notice in the mail. I know your process has been drawn out a whole lot, but try as best you can to be patient - at this point, you have a scheduled interview and the info is on its way. It sucks for it to take a long time, but years from now, the extra couple months it took for you to be a citizen will seem like nothing. Not trying to be dismissive, but trying to help keep it in perspective. I know how badly we wanted to be finished with USCIS and it felt like we were taking longer than so many people! Good luck! It'll happen!
