So there was a slight mix-up after the interview; was waiting for the oath letter but it never came. Apparently the oath letter was sent to me instead of them printing it and giving it to me. Oh we'll, need to sit back and relax...the journey is almost over.

11 July 2005 - RFE: cheques inappropriately placed.
18 July 2005 - NOA 1: I-485, I-131, I-765 received!
19 July 2005 - NOA 1: I-130 received!
24 August 2005 - Biometrics appointment (Naperville, IL).
25 August 2005 - AOS touched.
29 August 2005 - AP, EAD, I-485 touched.

Congrats! and let us know how it went. I'd be super anxious too since my whole journey started back in 1997 if I count F1 visa before I met my wife. :D

Passed my interview today. It was really easy. My Appointment was at 8:00 AM in San Antonio, TX. The officer called me around 8:20 AM. We went over the N-400 Application. It was straight forward. Just verified everything. The writen test was really simple asked me to write The capital of united states is washington D.C and the reading test was to read What is the capital of the united states. The questions for the test was

1. What is an amendment?

2. Who vetoes the bill?

3. What do we show loyalty when we say the pledge of Allegiance?

4. What is the supreme law of the land?

5. Who did the united states fight in the world war II?

6.What is the capital of Texas?

Answered all the 6 and she said congratulations you have passed the test.

She gave a print out saying that congratulations your application has been recommneded for approval checked. The interviewer said that I should receive a letter in the mail for the oath ceremony.

When going through the N-400 application she did not ask me about the traffic ticket. But I voluntered and said that I got a ticket back in March. She made a note and said that should not be a problem.

Thanks to you all for the health and interview wishes. My husband and I made it to my appointment today. I've answered the first six questions correctly and passed. My colds are not completely gone so I'll just go back to sleep now and post my full review tomorrow. Hopefully they schedule my oath ceremony this month.

we have 274 people in the oath in Cadman Plaza and it was a loooong day. we was there @ 8:30 and nothing happen till 12pm or so. but anyways I don't have to deal with USCIS anymore.
