Hi Inky,

Did you get your letters in the post, or by email? Did you fill out the form for text & email notification if you did?

Thanks - at least it's good to see someone else going through Nebraska. Our checks were cashed the same day but I'm still yet to receive anything :(

Post only - I did include the sheet for electronic notification but have had NO notification from them at all !! other than the paper mail in the mail box. The check also doesn't show up on the banking online page so couldn't get case number from that either.

I was hoping my friend would go through citizenship at the same time as me but life events have prevented her from filing for now. There would have been 3 of us!

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Ok I have been checking my inbox and text message inbox obsessively ever since I saw that the check was cleared!

Good to know that I should be checking my mailbox as diligently!

I really just hate all the waiting. I want my case number, and then I'll be happy. To make it worse, we're moving state next Friday due to some training my husband needs to do before we PCS, so I really don't want to miss anything in transit!

Wondering if I should call them, but not sure if it will really achieve anything.

See my timeline for my expedited I-130 application due to military pcs

I just added my case number to my uscis account and it gave me an error, said I needed 13 numbers. I don't have 13 numbers/letters so I added the " * " and it worked. LIN*000000000 is what it looks like.

After adding it to the account I picked the email and text notifications so - doing that you should be able to get them after.

(had the same issue with my ROC previously and adding the case and selecting them that way for text worked)

Past exp with calling for answers - never worked for me, but its worth a try anyways because then you can say you at least tried it even if nothing came of it.

Quick qn: I thought if you'd done your biometrics in the last 15 months you didn't need to do them again. Is this the case with N-400? It wasn't too bad for AOS and ROC because we didn't interview, but as there definitely WILL be an interview that means 2 trips to Des Moines (at 3 hours one way)... ugh. I think I need to plan for 2 trips. I should give my boss the heads up :S

We just dropped off our package today at the post office. Sent it Express mail and will be there by noon tomorrow. I hope she will have her citizenship by the end of September.

My last biometrics was in Sept 2011 if that helps any.

Kyle had his ROC biometrics taken on 5/1/2012 and we are now going for biometrics for his N-400 on 2/20/2013. You both will be receiving appointments. I was hoping we didn't have to as I'd seen people say they didn't have to because it within a year, but this was not the case with us. Our office is two hours away. Looking forward to my day off work though. Hoping for a nice sunny day when we go for his biometrics next week.
