Just got back in LA from DC after attending the wedding of one of my cousins-in-law. I thought the trip was kinda timely because I was able to visit the US capital less than a month before my interview date.

I was too busy to make the bulletin for this week before Monday so here it is...

Thanks for the updates, Calypso. You keep us organized. :) DC is a great city to visit. My husband hasn't been there yet, so we need to go out there one of these days. I am sure it was a great opportunity for you to get ready for your interview next month.

We are getting ready for tomorrow's oath ceremony. I am frantically writing lesson plans for my substitute, and I am hoping the kids will be good in my absence. :) We have to be in downtown at 7:30 AM, so I am planning on getting there a bit earlier (if it were up to my husband we'd be there at 8:00).

Will update when we are done with the ceremony tomorrow. (I noticed that LAILUMINADA33 has the same oath ceremony date as my husband's--congratulations!).

Good luck on intereviews to Corinan and Autumnal!! :D

Not a problem. happy.png Although our February timeline is visible, I think it's better to make some sort of a summary at the start of each week. Anyone is welcome to do it if they like but if no one would, I'd post it since it only takes a few minutes.

I was surprised to find DC likable as a tourist destination. I thought it would largely be dirty like some parts of Manhattan and SF. It's actually a beautiful city and I wish my husband and I got to see more attractions. I made a list beforehand and we did get to visit the Lincoln Memorial, the US Capitol, the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and a few others.

Enjoy the oath ceremony with Andrew tomorrow! My husband and I went to Little Italy in Downtown SD last month for dinner at Buon Appetito. luv.gif

I interviewed on a Tuesday and my status changed that Friday to inline, then again on Monday to scheduled. Edited by chocochibi

Interviewed last Tuesday (May 7th), went to in scheduling que on Wednesday (May 8th) and then went to scheduled on May 13th.

Hello everybody!!

I had my Interview yesterday and I passed!!!! It was very easy. In 25 min I was out. Yes is true, my CO was talking very very fast but that was no problem for me. She started with the reading and writing part, then the questions and then the Form and some other questions not from the Form like how I met my husband, about my family, where my husband works. Then she told me I passed and asked if I speak Spanish. I said I do and then we started talking in Spanish. And that's it. Now I am waiting for the Oath Ceremony. Let's see how long it will take for that letter to arrive. Good luck to everyone else!

Congratulations! I noticed you are in Puerto Rico, I am too. I had my fingerprints done this month in Guaynabo and I am in line for interview. Hi. I guess you have never been to an interview before here in PR. It was in San Patricio Office Center in Guaynabo. No it was not crowded but I was the first one so don't know if it got crowded later. The people there are very nice don't worry. The Oath said it's going to be there or in some Court...Federal Court probably...don't know yet and the CO didn't know to tell me either. Good luck.
