You are not alone. My husband did his biometrics on March 11th, and his status still hasn't changed. He is relaxed about everything, but I am getting worried.

Looking back through other months, I noticed some people waited as long as a month for their status to change so maybe we're ok and it's just taking a little longer for us. I'll try not to worry if you do the same :)

It's a deal. :) Like you, I looked at some of the other months' timelines and did notice some people waited for a month (or so) to be placed inline for an interview. Fingers crossed.

There is nothing to lose this time so I am not easily worried either. star_smile.gif Looking at the timelines around here, I get an impression that N-400 may just be the fastest part of the immigration process, potentially faster than AOS.

Part of the reason some peoples take much longer is the volume that goes through their local center. If your in a really busy or popular area for immigrants - its usually going to take longer.

My wife had biometrics on 3/5 and is still not in line for interview. We're just trying to remember that it doesn't really matter and that she's not actually eligible for citizenship until 5/4, so there's no real hurry here. But I am still checking lots to see if she's been placed in line yet!

5/04/10 - interview appt - approved

I'm hoping it's manually and mine is moving along but just hasn't been updated. I seem to remember hearing about people taking their oath but their online status still said initial review.

Then they work on your files they scan the bar codes which creates the update.

About 15 minutes after my last post, my status updated and I got a text and email for inline for interview, <phew>

Congratulations! Glad you have been placed inline for your interview. :)

I think it will be a long wait for my husband as we live in San Diego and the offices here are always super busy. My fingers are still crossed.

I think it will be a long wait for my husband as we live in San Diego and the offices here are always super busy. My fingers are still crossed.
