Just got my NOA2 today. My wife sent me her original BC, DS-230 signed, PCC and all other required forms. So essentially, i'm ready to mail everything for the NVC step. I've read some more and discovered something that is confusing.

It says that once the interview is set, the immigrant has to take the packet along with original BC, DS-230 & PCC to the VFS. I'm confused, do I submit the package to the NVC. Or does my wife take the package to VFS. Or do we do both?

You must have to submit all these documents with her IV package to NVC. After that, NVC will forward her entire case file to Indian Consulate. They will return her all original documents at the time of interview.

It is always good to bring all original documents when she goes for interview. If she doesnt have more than 1 copy of original document, then just bring photocopies. But it wont be matter even she doesnt bring. But it is better to bring ( Just in case ).

Bring at least photocopies if you dont have original for interview.

In my case, I brought my entire case file including all originals as I had multiple original copies. But they didnt ask me for original/photocopy! But they returned all my original copies.

I understand that. My wife will take all of the copy. I was just confused that we may have to submit the package twice and then take a third copy.
