It was always going to happen, i requested a reschedule back in April, but my file just got stuck in Honolulu, held up by the merry go round of uscis administration.

Yes, I received a change of address confirmation letter.

Why did you do the follow up calls? I changed my address, but because I got the letter, I didnt follow up on the phone, sort of figured everything was ok.

Uff, I guess I will have to call when I go back to the US.

Hello all!

We filed in early February as well, did my fingerprints on mid-March, couple weeks later got RFE for missing tax-information, sent it back right away. Case updated to "review to RFE". Received my EAD-card on the end of April. Updated my address on July, and our case went from "review to RFE" to "Initial Review".

Couple weeks ago I received a letter saying our case is possible interview-waiver aka interview is not probably needed BUT however they may still change their mind and ask us to go to the interview.

Very informative, wasn't it? :) Well I guess the only informative part was that we should get decision in 6 months after receiving that letter.

Waiting game continues.... :)

The card arrived yesterday! YAY!!! Done with USCIS until 2015....feels amazing.

Sept. 16, 2020: interview, Boston (approved)

Sept. 24, 2020: oath ceremony, Boston---DONE!!! (279 days from submission)

On August 27, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

i just got this email,

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On August 28, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So i guess we are approved, hopefully they send the card pretty soon :-)

Well, here is my BS news that I am absolutely livid about (but maybe it'll help someone).

I filed early February for my AOS. I just received a letter a few days ago after my husband made a complaint via phone to tier 2/3 that we have received no information about our case and that we CANNOT view the case online as it is still not found.

The letter we received says that they apologize for how long the process is taking because basically their is broken. Not only that, but we "may" be considered to not have an interview at this point. Also, they estimate it will take APPROXIMATELY SIX MORE MONTHS from the date of the letter to get my freaking green card. I am floored, pissed, and completely disappointed in the US government. This is a huge pain in the ### for me because I have to frequently go back to Canada to take care of my grandparents that are old and ailing and I am not interested in getting harassed at the border EVERY single time I go there, nor do I want a time limit in case something grave happens.

So there you have it. Excellent work USCIS. For reference, I live just outside of DC, but in Maryland jurisdiction. My office would have been Baltimore.

Seems like the six months thing is just standard wording. Other people got the very same letter, regardless of how long they had been waiting. Hang in there, maybe it will happen faster.

I am still waiting too, and didn't get that letter. Can't decide if I want to call and inquire about the status of my application, or just keep waiting.

Ohhh sorry to hear of the delays, I was pretty bitter with uscis by the time I finally got my interview notice, which was on Thursday last week, approved with no problem. Now hopefully they update SAVE so I can get my drivers license !
