Hey guys, it's just me freaking out again. I was wondering how many people still have this

"Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283."

coming up on their case status look up. As far as I know, I haven't received any mail, or anything like that. Really getting worried now that a pile of people are getting their green cards already. Has anybody called recently? I haven't bothered calling because I don't want to get more freaked out!

Like quite a few others, there has been no word about anything since the EAD/AP combo card arrived. It has been 4+ months since we filed, and there have been no status updates at all for the I-485.

On one hand, it's great that he can work/travel. But on the other hand, there are loads of other things affected by his immigration status: the citizenship timeline, whether or not he can get in-state tuition at school (currently, he can't, and the out-of-state tuition is far too expensive for us so he is making very slow progress at the moment because we can't afford too many classes), whether or not he can apply for financial aid, etc.

It would be really great to have some idea how long this is going to take!

I am an early March filer. I get the same "Case Not Found" message whenever I check my online status. I don't think you should worry too much. The NBC is notorious for not updating/scanning the documents into their online system. I actually had the same problem with my EAD status, which did not update from "Case Not Found" to "Document Production" until it was approved. If you got the NOA, you are in their system, so try to relax. :)

Got APPROVED today. What a great feeling. Thanks to all VJ members, you have been my no. 1 source for all my immigration questions!

I brought lots of bona-fide wedding documentation to be safe, along with the copies and originals of what I submitted already (as stated in the notice).

There was no wait, the officer greeted us 5 min BEFORE our scheduled time! And I’m quite a joker myself but prepared myself to be stoic, but it was needed since the officer made jokes all the way from greeting us until the time we left!! I didn’t expect that!

Before we sat down he almost said we were approved! I did not have to show ANY of the documents that I brought, just went over all the ones I had submitted, and within 15 min we were approved after sharing how we met each other.

The rest of the interview was to make sure the card was sent to production (he showed his screen confirming that), getting the I-551 stamp in my passport since travelling out of country soon.

We spent the last 10 min about next steps of naturalization in 3 years time, with the interview questions to expect.

I couldn’t have asked for an easier interview and what a great officer I got! Wish you all have that same blessing :)

Weird. He should, at least through you.

You got me a bit worried, I thought I was establishing residence currently, not just after the GC arrived.

As to "case not found" I was in the same boat before I change my address, a coupe of weeks ago. Ever since then, the case updated in the system. When I talked to the tier2, he told me he could see my case in his system and that all was ok, even though I could not see my numbers before.

Glad everything went well JGD108. I have my interview next week. Starting to get a bit nervous but I know that I have all my paperwork in place. Did they question you about your TN status at all?

I really brought a lot of paperwork (everything submitted + originals and new stuff since) for no reasons, but nevertheless have to be prepared.

He just took right away my I-94 / TN-1 status paper and on the I-485 checked when I last entered USA and that was it for the TN status.

Been worried in the beginning of applying for AOS 6 months ago about that whole intent subject, but we laughed so much that I pretty much didn't have to say anything other than our love story :)

I really brought a lot of paperwork (everything submitted + originals and new stuff since) for no reasons, but nevertheless have to be prepared.

He just took right away my I-94 / TN-1 status paper and on the I-485 checked when I last entered USA and that was it for the TN status.

Been worried in the beginning of applying for AOS 6 months ago about that whole intent subject, but we laughed so much that I pretty much didn't have to say anything other than our love story smile.png

That was my major concern also. Glad to hear it went well. I hope to share good news next week :)

Had my interview and was not approved on the spot. Was told a few things need to be looked at but if everything checks out I should receive my 2 year conditional.

Anyone else have experience on how long this could take?
