Question: I got one notification saying EAD card in production on May 1 and another saying exactily samething today May 6. How many more card production notification am I gonna get before they mail it? Any idea? Thanks!

I just recieved my second notification also. Looks like it will ship later today or tomorrow dancin5hr.gif

Now if I can only get the interview date. I may have to call back for another service request in a week or so.

Congrats! :D I got the same text/email update this morning - the second card production notice.

But still nothing for my AP... nor the interview... Fingers crossed for those for all of us!

Mine says "Testing and Interview" since 4/2 I just got EAD in production on May 1 and no notification on mailing yet(btw how long does it take?)....but nothing on Interview date. I called and did service request on May 1...will find out what they say in 15 days. And what do you really mean that case not found??? When you enter the receipt no. nothing shows??? Not even the "Testing and Interview" thing???

By the way how did you ask for “service request"? I called them again nagging for an update for my AP, they still wouldn't do anything for me since it's not passed the 3 month waiting period yet. :(

I beleive we both called regarding the I485. I know I called because the "testing and interview" status was past 30 days. The AP and EAD can take up to 90 days. So they will not address AP or EAD under 90 days.

However from my understanding the EAD usually comes with the AP included. At least thats what I have read from other posts in the forum.

Just call and say that your status of "Testing and Interview Scheduling" has not changed over a month. Guess what I got another text/email saying they approved my EAD....after the fact they text me saying it was mailed today.....anyways...it's good news for all of us! But honestly I don't think calling with expedite anything...but just to be on the safe side you should call. I mean who knows they may have skipped a file!!!

One interesting thing....I got text/email saying EAD is mailed today then another notification saying EAD was approved and approval notice is mailed as well. However the status of the case actually went one step backward and now says Post decision activity which is the step before card production!!! Weird!!!

Anyone else???

The first one was that the card has been mailed to the address on file (status on website remained as "Card/Document Production"). The second e-mail stated that the case status has been updated, and the status is now showing "Post Decision Activity". I guess we will see if she receives her card in the next day or two ...

My wife received two e-mail updates this morning with the same exact info. The first one was that the card has been mailed to the address on file (status on website remained as "Card/Document Production"). The second e-mail stated that the case status has been updated, and the status is now showing "Post Decision Activity". I guess we will see if she receives her card in the next day or two ...

She received a third e-mail this evening with the following message:

"The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on May 8, 2013. The USPS tracking number assigned is #DCN. You can use this number at <a href="https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?origTrackNum=#DCN" target="_blank">www.usps.com</a> to view updates to the delivery status of your mail. You should receive your new card within 7 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

The tracking number was not included in the e-mail, but is available on the USCIS website. Status of this has also been changed back to "Card/Document Production" from "Post Decision Activity" on the website.
