It's funny you call it "canned message"... you are absolutely right! Talking to them is like talking to a text-to-speech software  They just read exact message you see on uscis site like a robot. But calling them won't hurt. You never know, someone might go the extra mile to help your case smile.gif

I just called. My file is still at Missouri. I was told they are still processing my files. It may take an additional 3 months for my file to be transferred to NYC. Then I have to wait another month for NYC to schedule an interview. Is it normal to have an interview after such a long wait? I filed AOS in February, and got biometrics done on 3/1, received my EAD card on 4/18.

My dear friend you are so predictable, I was waiting for you to comment, I see you didn't disappoint me. So lets break your comment in pieces, first you say "It looks like things are getting screwy with you too hahahaha slowly the imperfection of the system is catching up to you..." But then you say "Don't worry I don't wish anyone bad luck or anything" do you see what I see? You have a big problem with logic, please don't make a fool of yourself. And as I said, USCIS does a good job, most cases go smooth but like in every system.... SH!T happens. The difference is, some people understand that, some others don't.

Omg!!! I can't believe not too good things are happening to you as well. Well at least they didn't cancel your interview so you can figure it out what's going on next week. They might just sent you a wrong letter or something. If I were you and if you have one contact with your lawyer. I don't know why are they doing this????!!!! Ugh!!!! Well I hope it turns out well for you. Let us know!

It could be a mistake because my spouse is a USC, this letter sounds like its for a LPR. I still have my interview next Monday, I'll try to find out what it is before that. I'll post what happens just in case somebody receives the same letter. Thanks for your support!!

I would think so.... I figure the package would be mailed to the local office when the "interview and testing" notice goes out.

The scheduling date would be set when the package is recieved/logged. I could be wrong.

Being predicatable is a good and distinquishable human characteristic smile.png My arguments about them still stand. It looks like yours is changing. Listen, my original post was not about you. I was just stating how messy and inconsistant the system is and you seemed to take it personally and volunteered to you stick up for them just because you got served by the system on time. If you read the posts here and in other threads, you will find many are actually getting unfairly delayed or having some sort of problem. Well, I am glad to see that now your tone about them changed a bit. There is no valid reason for them to approve one case in four weeks and hold up any other for ten months...one getting interview in two months and another is still in initial review for three months or someone applied after you getting everything done while you are still stuck at early stage....and many in this forum are have issues like that. The level of ineffiency in immigration system has been well talked about in here for decades asking for reform. I suppose you are not that informed. When someone has a point of view you have to listen before you jump on the defensive or offensive...you don't have to agree but you just can't blatantly say it's full of SH!T and that's what you initially did!!! Anyways...with all seriousness all the best to you!

I am in the same boat, no word from my AOS since I filed, I dont even know if my file is in Missouri or at a local office.

Hello everyone,

I just wanned to give an update about my case... yesterday, my husband went to see the IO who interviewed us, Luckily, he took the new Medical form with him, when he explained what happened .. she just asked him if he has the medical with him. She took it from him in person. After he got home, I received an email stating that they ordered the production of my card. then I received another saying that they sent me a mail about registering me as a permanent resident. but they didn't send me an approval notice! is that normal? and now my online status is on the Decision stage n't the card production... it's just like it went backwards after it was on the card production!

Any clues??

I'm week of February 14th filer :) Got my AP/work permit combined card Week of April 13 and had my biometrics March 11th.... I'm concerned because we are unfortunately at the Baltimore office, which averages 250 days from filing date to Green card. I was hoping I'd be able to go back home to Canada and visit my family for a month because my only family is very old and her birthday is in August. :( I don't trust leaving the country without the greencard because I got hassled coming to visit and got hassled when I was at POE on k-1. Anyone else at the Baltimore center and concerned? I'm hoping it goes fast....
