May be it's a silly question...what time you get your email and/text notifications? I am just wondering if it is done at fixed time and/or intervals during the day OR just each time some one works on your case you get an email/text??? I find the latter to be untrue since I got my last notification at 10:38PM when my case moved to "Testing and Interview Scheduling".... 10:38PM.... I don't think govt. employees work that hard or late lollll...then we won't have a back log!!! What time you got your notifications when your status moves forward???

I just had my interview today.... but it's baaaaad news

I got a RFE for the medical exam.... for some silly reason the IO said that my Physician didn't fill it properly.. :angry:

So she handled me the Rfe notice at the interview.. but the problem is- it seems that the IO made a mistake cuz in the Rfe letter she marked the affidavit of support form instead of the medical!! I realized that when I got home... now I am confused, should I go there tomorrow and talk to her or should I call a specific number or what,, am sure that she checked it by mistake because she assured us that everything is fine except the medical. :unsure:

help please!!!!!

If I were you, I would send the copy of Affidavit of Support that you initially sent along with the copy of the RFE...It would save the time and money for another medical. If that's not the case then you can't just do another medical and send it with the current RFE since it's not really asking for that. And in this case, you should go back and contact IO for clarification.

If I were you, I would send the copy of Affidavit of Support that you initially sent along with the copy of the RFE...It would save the time and money for another medical. If that's not the case then you can't just do another medical and send it with the current RFE since it's not really asking for that. And in this case, you should go back and contact IO for clarification.

i agree with you, but if i didn't send a new medical i guess they will rfe me again because she marked that form and put it at the top of our papers!!

Sorry for your bad news :( If I were you I would probably go back to talk to the IO. Sending in the wrong form would just create further problems.

I filed for AOS february 28. Anxiously awaiting my EAD!

NOT to worry!!! I filed on Feb. 22 and NOA Mar. 1....still waiting on my EAD. The status still says "Initial Review" and I487 was placed for "Interview Scheduling" on Apr. 2.....they both are just sitting there.

I call 800 no. this morning...Jamie told me if I don't see any updateby May 2 which is a month from Apr. 2 I should call again....waiting...waiting and waiting...........

i agree with you, but if i didn't send a new medical i guess they will rfe me again because she marked that form and put it at the top of our papers!!

It says a lot about their carelessness and incompetence...I see that Baba's interview was cancelled due to the need for training for the employees...well it looks justified now.

I saw a grim picture of operation when I went for biometrics. As I was siting there...I noticed each employee would take two applicants at a time...took their sweet time...checked their phone in the middle of it for text, missed call, facebook update, twitter or god knows what...couple of times then when finished took a break for 5-10 mins then walked lazily back to desk to call for next applicants....they love their job that much. I have been in the US for a long time....I see this picture any time I go to a govt. office....it's a shame!!!

Hi you both. I filed early February. February 4th and I didn't get any update on my EAD until they scheduled us for an interview. On that they I got e-mail updates about my EAD card production and stuff. So my guess it might happen to you guys. As soon as you know your interview date the EAD will come shortly. I might be wrong but that's what happened to me.

Oh yea and about my interview being cancelled I only have to say that's my luck:( I ask the question every day why my case??? I was so close to be done with everything. And by the way I still have nothing on rescheduling time:(
