That's a very good question cause I am having a co-sponsor too and he is not planning to file soon cause he wanted to file for extension on his taxes. I will ask my lawyer and I will get back with you. Let me know if you hear anything.

I'll be waiting your update.. cuz i don have a lawyer to consult :blush:

hello everyone,,

i have a question. my interview is scheduled for April 24th. I have filed early in February using 2011 tax return and i never got a RFE. is it possible that i will be Rfed at the interview for the 2012 tax?? i am asking because i am using a co- sponsor and it's not easy for me to ask him for extra documents unless the are mandatory! :blush:

Just have the 2012 tax return handy. May be they may ask or not. If they ask and you don't have it, they will ask you to send it in before approval.So to avoid any delays just take it to the interview because you have nothing to loose.

Received EAD card yesterday, still not able to check AOS online though. Booo. Also according to Social Security, the EAD is 'too new' for us to change the name on Wifeys SS card. So that will be a 4 week wait...

Hi. Just sent an e-mail to the lawyer. I will let you know what she says. I also wanted to let you know that I think I misunderstood you because my situation is a little bit different. So my sponsor is my husband of course but he didn't meet the guidelines so I needed to have a joint co sponsor that is my father- in- law. And my husband did his taxes for 2012 and my father-in-law is trying to file for extension. But anyways I will let you know what her answer is.

We filed my Wife's and Daughter's AOS Packets on 2/8/13

Packet was received on 2/11/13

We received NOA's via Email and Text on 2/14/13 at 11 pm (Happy Valentines Day!)

Checks cashed on 2/15/13

On 2/22/13 we received biometrics appointment for 3/14/13

on 3/19/13 only the I-485's show in testing and interview online, but both EAD and AP say case cannot be found.

Does anyone else have this same thing? Where your aos is moving but not the EAD or AP?

Also how long should the case be in this stage?

We are having the same issue so we were wondering about this also. Judging from other posters, we're expecting the interview date email/letter sometime next week. Hoping anyway! But yes, it's really annoying that we can't see any status for the EAD and AP.

No idea! It would be easier if I could track my application online. I know someone from the same state as I, who could not see his numbers online, and who hasn't gotten his cards yet, although he is an early January filler. He is waiting for the whole 3 months to go by so he could put out a service request. His story sort of threw me off balance.

Yessir, it changed and had me worried but then pretty soon after I was able to see a tracking number and then 2 days later it was delivered.

Hi February filers!

This is my first post on this forum, I'm amazed at how fast some cases are going thru. I hope we get some of that luck too since this is a very stressful process. We are from New jersey :

Feb 14- send out I485 & i765

Feb 20- acceptance

Feb 26- biometrics mailed to us

Mar 14- rfe send to us(birth certificate)

Mar 21- biometrics done

April 3- I485 changed to rfe response review

Our case is being process at NBC
