But it was for a RFE for my I-130..

Wonder what it is.

Since concurrent with I-485 does that pauses EAD and AP as well?

Had my Biometrics done on 15th March and today my status for 1-485 changed to Testing and Interview. Now how long, should it probably take to get EAD/AP to get approved and have my Interview Appointment Notice ?

Yipee! SO excited that I received an email notification stating that my case status has changed already!

Congrats. I haven't got anything yet since doing my walk-in biometrics on the 15th of March. Also when I check my status on uscis.gov with my receipt number ie. MSC1255581832, it says case can not be found. It's been doing that since I received my I-797's. Anyone else in the same situation?

But hopefully I'll follow suit with the rest of the Feb Filers and get my interview date soon!

Our NOA1 is dated February 7. My husband did his biometrics on February 20. We haven't heard anything and still can't see our status online. I called last week, and the Tier II person told me it's early in the process for us; that August cases were still being processed. So I'm starting to think (hope) we won't have an interview. I'm okay with that. As I mentioned before, our biggest concern is getting the EAD/AP as soon as possible. The wait continues...

I did get an email one time informing me of my I-797's (receipts) were on their way and I did fill out a G-1145 for email and text notifications but I'm starting to think I needed to fill out multiple G-1145's for notifications for my multiple application forms.

Any details on the interview and questioning process? How long was it? What time was it set for? How did you gain knowledge 30mins later on your Approved interview status? Wasn't it approved on the spot during interviewing? etc.

Great! Thanks for the info and help. I did get an email one time informing me of my I-797's (receipts) were on their way and I did fill out a G-1145 for email and text notifications but I'm starting to think I needed to fill out multiple G-1145's for notifications for my multiple application forms.

Any details on the interview and questioning process? How long was it? What time was it set for? How did you gain knowledge 30mins later on your Approved interview status? Wasn't it approved on the spot during interviewing? etc.

The G-1145 is only for notifications of your NOA1s. It doesn't count for any further updates with your cases, even if they do appear online. What you need to do is, go on the USCIS page, put your case# in, it will then bring you to the "My Case Status" page. If like me your cases won't appear that's the only way to keep checking.. if you do see your case, whatever status it is in, you can sign up for updates by clicking on "Sign-up for case updates" on the left-hand side menu. You'd need to add all three cases # and tick them and click on "email alert on" and "text alert on", depending what you want to receive.

Once your cases appear you will be able too to sign up for case updates, that's what I did so I know when it moves forward (card production/mailed/tracking number).

My interview was really quick, it was set for 8:15am but we got there at 8am. Nobody else was there, we actually had to wait a few minutes outside. Once we got through security I gave my letter at the reception desk and the Officer came to take us to her office after 5 mins. At 8:20 we were in our car already!

She made us swear, asked for IDs, passport and DLs (don't worry if you don't have one yet) then asked me all those questions that I answered on the I-485 (have you ever been a criminal, is it your first GC you applying for and such), made me sign on the same I-485 form (which she ticked in a red pen for every section she went through).

Then asked for any further supporting docs we had (gave her a bunch of stuff: joined lease, joined account, my husband's life insurance, health insurance, car insurance).

She then asked what my husband's plans were in terms of work (he's in the AF), scribbled a few things down, then asked why we got married in California and if any of my family managed to attend.

That was pretty much it, I was hoping too for an on-spot decision but she said: I'm going to review the file and you should expect an answer by today or tomorrow I'd say" Also mentioned the 2-year GC, what we need to do after and the importance of keeping our address up-to-date everytime. Furthermore she said, in case the GC presents any mistake, to get an Infopass and go back to the office and they'll sort it out.

My interview was in Anchorage, AK.
