That was quick! I did mine on 2/15 but no changes on my status yet both AOS and EAD/AP.

We finally got the NOA1 hard copy for AP, a mere 17 days after the notice date! The entire envelope had been put into a larger outer envelope by the USPS because there is a big chunk missing out of the top of the USCIS envelope & NOA1. I hope it doesn't end up being a problem that we have a badly mangled NOA1!

The assigned biometrics appointment is coming up on Monday, so I'm glad we now have all of the documents. Guess there won't be much point in trying to do a walk-in, will there!

Nov. 20, 2012: POE, Boston!!! (legal marriage 12/12/12; family/friends wedding ceremony 1/12/13) (276 days)

Feb. 4, 2013: AOS packet sent (delivered 2/6, NOA1 text/email & check cashed 2/11 midnight)

Feb. 11, 2013: NOA1 notice date for I-485, EAD, AP (I-485/EAD NOA1 hard copies & biometrics appt letter arrived 2/16, badly mangled AP NOA1 arrived 2/27; biometrics done 3/4/13)

Apr. 3, 2013: EAD & AP approved (received card 4/11)

Aug. 16, 2013: I-485 approved & green card production ordered!!!! (card arrived 8/26/13) (193 days)

Sept. 24, 2020: oath ceremony, Boston---DONE!!! (279 days from submission)

Yep, bring all your documents such as marriage license and the bio apt letter etc

We got the biometrics appointment letter yesterday. Scheduled for Mar. 18 at 2pm. Can anyone who has done it already please tell me exactly what they do? Is it just fingerprints and photo?

When you walk in a officer will check your ASC letter and have you sign some docs. A person will clean you hands and fingers and electronically fingerprint your fingers. After fingerprints they will take one headshot of you. In and out should be around 10-15 mins

02/11/2013 - NOA I-797 for I-130, I-485 and I-765

02/12/2013 - ASC Biometric - I-797C for 03/12/2013

02/20/2013 - ASC received in mail. Early walk-in same day

03/06/2013 - Online status changed to testing and interview (first time we were able to see online status)

03/18/2013 - Received I-797C Interview notice. Notice day 03/14/2013 Interview date 04/17/2013

04/18/2013 - Online status for I-765 changed: Card production

04/18/2013 - Interview 12.30PM in San Francisco: Approved

04/20/2013 - Received EAD card in mail

04/25/2013 - Received Green Card in mail

Total process time: 72days

Yay, got my letter too, finally, appointment on March 8th. I will be in the cities from the 3rd to the 5th, so I am definitely going to try a walk in. Do you guys have any recommendations about the hour I should go?

I did my walk in early in the morning, around 8:30. There was nobody else in the waiting room and they called my number right away. Nobody cared about even looking at the date of my appointment, which was March 6th. Good luck :thumbs:
