I guess it wouldn't be possible to speed up the EAD on its own given that the EAD and AP are the same card, right? Grr. We got the text messages for all 3: why must the hard copy take so long?

The AP doesnt need biometrics I received my letter for biometrics n it also says for I-485 app and I-765 EAD app not AP I'm doing the walk in on TuesdAy

Status on the EAD updated to "card production" today! Travel doc also updated, to "post decision activity." AOS still at "acceptance" (no move to testing & interview yet). Very, very happy -

Hmm...could be. But they stamped my husband's NOA1 letter as having biometrics complete for the AP, and she said she was putting it in the system for all three applications. Why would they do that if it wasn't needed? I guess it's possible the people at the ACS don't know biometrics aren't necessary for AP.

Well that's what a friend told me n he already got his AP and EAD N he's working already... And other thing is that on biometrics letter doesn't mention the AP app I'm just sharing what I know .. :)

Sure. I wasn't really questioning you, but wondering out loud. I'm actually glad they stamped the NOA1 for AP. Even if it's not necessary, it just makes me feel good knowing we have it just in case. This process has made me overly cautious.

Hi guys! Joining you as I sent in the AOS papers on Wednesday:) So before Christmas we should all have our green card, right!?:) Well, at least I feel so less stressful being with my love now filing I did filing K-1 and not knowing when we would be together!

I hope. It states on the USCIS timeline that it takes 5 months. I just hope it will be faster.

I hope we get our confirmation email soon. My package states that it was delivered on February 19, 2012. I don't like the feeling of waking up to empty messages.

03/06/2013 - Online status changed to testing and interview (first time we were able to see online status)

03/18/2013 - Received I-797C Interview notice. Notice day 03/14/2013 Interview date 04/17/2013

04/18/2013 - Online status for I-765 changed: Card production

04/18/2013 - Interview 12.30PM in San Francisco: Approved

04/20/2013 - Received EAD card in mail

I filed in January, NOA1 receipt on Jan, 10 and my MSC# is below that number and yet has not shown online. Today it's 45days .... wondering if tmrw the message will say "... up to 90days"! LOL
