Did he give you a name?

I don;t think they ever told me a name, for their own privacy and security.

What do you want to contact the person for?

I know there was a case where someone had an interview and they were told by the officer to provide some document for it to be approved (dont remember what document). They did but there was something wrong with whatever they sent in. The officer called and left a message saying there was a problem and they documents needed to be resent again and someone in the persons household deleted the message. The person went down to the local office and told the worker in the window I need to speak to Officer "Smith" as she left me a message about blah blah blah and it was deleted and I dont know what it said. The worker went in the back and Smith came out and told the person what the message was about. The problem was resolved.

So you cant just go down there and request to talk to Officer Smith. Officer Smith is not just going to come out and talk to you unless they have a reason to. Youll probably be carted out by security if you make a scene or get demanding or loud or they feel threatened that you came there seeking them out. I know if I was Officer Smith and they said theres a man outside that wants to 'speak with you' about something that happened on his case- with the nature of the job and how many people get denied - nope, thats a potentially dangerous situation.

If you need an appt you make it through infopass. If the officer wants to talk to you, theyll call you.
