Situation: My husband and I had the interview yesterday. I am American. He is Mexican.

We were told he was approved and it will take 8 weeks for the card to come.

We will be married 2 years this June 27th.

We were told we will need to fill out a form to remove the condition.

Question: Does this mean we will have to pay more money? Another Biometrics? Another set of photos, etc??

Please help me to understand this. This process has only took 3 months and has gone so fast. I would have thought the $1000+ we

have already paid was a lot. It would have been better to wait until we were married 2 years then. Correct?

Thank you so much.

yes, more money.

Luckily, it's not as much as the big AOS package you just paid for.

AND - you have two years !

Surely you can save up 700 bucks by then? (it's less than that, but with monies for copies and postage, it's about 700 bucks)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
