Are there any 221g Cr-1 category people out there that have interviewed in October 2012? Has anybody heard anything from the New Delhi Embassy regarding there cases?

My husband and I are waiting anxiously for the past 4 months and counting to get back our passport from there.... We last got and update on CEAC.state.gov website on Jan 16. But it still shows administrative processing. WE even contacting our senator and they said they could not do anything about it because it was in Administrative Processing. We have to wait 45 days now to have another inquiry to be sent to the embassy. PLease let me know if anyones case has progressed since last year...

If you don't mind me asking do either of you know why your spouses were subjected to Administrative Processing?

My husband will be interviewing in New Delhi in the future.

I am the petitioner.

Good luck all of you going through AP in Delhi.

We also went through AP in Delhi and waited for 4 months before visa was issued

(Issue with us was with VFS - we have to submit all papers to VFS after interview even though she was carrying it with her at interview because VFS did not take the 4 inches of supporting documents when we went to VFS submit before visa interview, they only took the minimum required, she was told to carry it to interview and at interview, she was told to submit all to VFS).

Q to OPs, once your K1 petition was denied, Did you not take the "No Objection Certificate" from Embassy that states that ABC US citizen is marrying XYZ Indian Citizen.

we had no idea about that but we called DOS to stop the petition because we had gotten married after our rejection
