Filing soon and have ??s

My husband and I decided to get married so we are preparing the I-130 forms now. I just have a couple of questions.

#15 on I-130 - They are referring to my job correct?

#17 on I-130 - I do put myself in this spot correct?

Section D - Other Info #2 - I did file a petition for my ex husband. Never proceeded past NVC. Terminated case. I know this is a red flag, but what can I put in the packet up front so that I hopefully do not get any delays? I filed that petition in July 2007 and let it sit at NVC until I finally terminated it in Jan 2012. I didn't formally terminate it cause I didn't realize I had to.

G-325A for Spouse - Does he have to sign his?

Thank you all!

I am assuming you are the petitioner, because you said you applied for a previous spouse, so I believe you are the USC.

If you are the petitioner, for question #15 on the I-130, it is asking about the Name and Address of Present Employer of the BENEFICIARY (the right column on page 1 is entirely for the beneficiary, while the left column is for the petitioner's information).

If you are the petitioner, for question #17, yes you put yourself as the SPOUSE of the relative and any children.

For Section D, question #2, if you have previously filed a petition for anyone else, you mark yes and give the name of the person you petitioned for, place and date of filing and what the result was (as per my knowledge, other experienced VJ members can correct me if I am wrong).

For G-325A, you must fill out one for yourself and sign. Your spouse must file one for himself and SIGN.

Thank you Mina. Yes I am the USC. The one in Section D I did put all the info and that I terminated the case before NVC proccessing, but is there anything I should put in the packet about this?

If you've still got the old case numbers at NVC/USCIS then I'd mention those in your cover letter. Here's the template for the cover letter in case you haven't seen it before: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_bring_your_foreign_spouse_to_live_in_the_US#Attachment_1_.E2.80.93_I-130_Cover_Sheet I'd add a couple lines saying that you applied before but withdrew the petition for <this reason> and <these> are the case numbers. That should be enough.
