 Well I filed a K-1 Fiance Visa. My N0A1 date is 10 August. NO touches. NO RFE so far. Actually NO activity at all. Almost everyone who filed around the same time I did have already been approved, as have many, many more who filed weeks after me. And now people are being approved that filed in September. My case just sits there. I doubt that any human being has even cast an eye on my application since they mailed my N0A1 to me. I've called the "help" line. Ha. Ha. Help Line.. what a joke. I was told that my petition had not yet reached the 6 month timeframe for such cases and that I shouldn't call the help line again until six months had passed. They told me that applications are worked as they are received. When I told them that wasn't true, they told me that they weren't at CSC and that they didn't know how they processed petitions. The woman I spoke to wasn't nasty or mean... just very unhelpful. I'm at day 91 now and still waiting. The average time for approvals for August and now September is 40 to 70 days. I have alot of patience but I'm beginning to get highly frustrated.

My NOA-1 is from August 15. It's the most frustrating experience of my life seeing touches and approvals on other files while ours just grows moss at CSC for no apparent reason. The worst of it is knowing that there is nobody to call who can give me any information beyond what I get on the online system. It seems like six months is a long time to wait to be able to get anywhere with a complaint.

My husband had an idea that I'm going to try if we get to the end of November without any word on our case. He said we should send something to add to our file so they'll at least have to put their hands on it. Like, just write a dumb letter and say "we're afraid we forgot to send X, so here's a copy." It may not help, but I don't think it can hurt.

Our NOA-1 (I-130 in Vermont) was September 11. So we haven't been waiting as long. But what disturbs me is that the processing date hasn't changed from like February 5 in such a long time. Seems like they're just stuck and there's nothing happening at all. My timeline says we will be approved sometime in March, 2007-yikes!!
