Hi VJs,

My petition was expired as what the consular told me. i take back my passport from them too. Now today The DOS status shows.

Status Updated Date: 31-Jan-2013

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

Now what it mean. if My petition was expired.?

did you try contacting the DOS by phone? I don't think anyone here can give you an accurate answer, answers would be mere speculation. If you haven't tried calling since the update, I suggest doing so now. Good luck

My fiance did call DOS. and that what they told her that i am having AP.
