"We do not need more control in guns, we need to reintroduce God and His Law in our families to avoid this. Evil is around and the only weapon we have against it is His Word and being able to teach our kids to follow them"

Adam Lanza attended and graduated from a Catholic School. What happened? Wrong God?

Please show me proof that belief in God stops violence.

Adam Lanza. Catholic School. See? Oh, wait...

I never said schools have to teach students about God. Those values are learnt at home. Its the parents´job to teach their kids not the school. Thats my whole point. As far as proof of God stopping violence, remember he gave us all free will. Its not Him who we have to blame for violence as everyone can choose right from wrong. So it depends on us to create good, law abiding kids.

More people have been killed in this world in the name of (a)God than any other cause. Yeah, real crime preventer alright.

even happened in the days before firearms were invented .... imagine that

I'm thinking we should confiscate all of the guns and give everyone their choice of one of the weapons from the pic below. Something tells me if you make killing another human being a bit less cowardly than simply pulling a trigger by making it up close and personal, and giving the victim an even chance to fight back, a good majority of these senseless deaths would stop.

Since this took a religious turn. I personally don't believe in any of it, but if the fear of going to hell stops some guy from sticking a knife in my ribs and stealing my wallet, then it can be a good thing.

Please don't take Teddy's remarks too seriously, being up in P&R and dealing with the people who use logic without reason or compassion has made him a little bit cynic. His heart is in the right place.

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

... made him a little bit cynic....

Maybe it's the daily a$$ beating he takes from his Canadian wife. That would make me a cynic.

The daily a$$ beating is what keeps me sane, I thoroughly enjoy it.
