They won't process the DS 230 until you've paid the IV invoice and you won't get the IV invoice until DS 3032 has been processed.

It's up to you how you want to proceed.

That sucks for trying to rush the system at the NVC :bonk:

Thank You

Received the email from NVC and attachment in their email: PAOSF I-130 and ACL for neopost.

It has my wife's name like this - 2nd middle name, First name, 1st middle name, Last name.

For example: Tiffany (first name), Carol (1st middle name), Ann (2nd middle name), Smith (last name)

But they have it: Ann Tiffany Carol Smith

Does this need to be corrected?

Most likely your IV bill is being invoiced. When my husband's DS-3032 was accepted, IV disappeared and then re-appeared with the invoice. Looks like you'll be done soon just like us! :D

I have my joint sponsor's tax return transcripts for 2009-2011. I don't have my joint sponsor's employment letter and pay stubs. Is that ok?

Also I don't have income for the past 3 years. So I just fill out I-864 form. Do I need to write a letter about not being employed and no income?

Congrats! That's super exciting!

It is! it is!!! except now comes the waiting...waiting.....and waiting again. (alhamdulillah) 7 months I've been in the NVC stage for various reasons, but I'm happy all those are resolved.

I did enjoy the last few weeks at NVC where something was happening every week or two. :P I mean-- as much as one can enjoy this pain staking process. At least in NVC stage it feels like something is getting done besides waiting :D

So I called like 10 minutes ago, and the lady ask what is your receipt number? and I answer nicely and didn't even said a thing and the lady goes off on me with attitude like look your case was received on Feb. 11th. Ok, wait until 10-20 business days to get a case number Ok goodbye. How rude. They're probably having a bad day I guess and it's Monday. These NVC operators just needs to relax lol. Maybe even take a nice sip of seattle famous starbuck coffee and enjoy the night. Have any of you guys who NVC said they received your case on Feb. 11 gotten a case number?

Hi guys,

Okay advice wanted....our case arrived at NVC on 11th Feb and we are still waiting ahem 'patiently' for our case number. Guy on Friday said we should get it this week, guy today sounded angry that I'd called before 20 business days. I'm hoping we'll hear good news soon. However, I'm thinking even if we got our case number this week the likelihood is that our interview probably won't end up being until June by the time we go through the NVC process and wait for an interview date. Does that sound about right?

Anyways, I'm missing hubby terribly (as we all are I'm sure) but have got the the point where I'm thinking I'd like to just fly over at the beginning of May on an ESTA and visit for a month and just fly back for my interview. Guess I'm just checking if this is a really unwise plan or if there are any hiccups I haven't considered. I mean other than the fact they might turn me away if they are concerned I'm entering with intention to stay. I'm hoping that won't happen though. Thoughts/advice?

Cat

If you can get a case number assigned within the next week or two, then pay bills and send packages pronto, with no checklists, you'll have a case complete by the end of March, giving you an interview sometime in May.

Honestly, I would suggest holding out. If approved at the interview, you'll be in the US by June (if you move right away). I know it's hard to be away (I was there, I know), but you're so close to the end!

Yesssss.. DS 3032 accepted today. No need to send that other email. IV bill has disappeared. Getting invoiced, I hope! Ready to pay this thing, ship this packet and get our interview date! Oh man, I cannot wait to see my husband!!! Butterflies!!!!!!

Grats! kicking.gif Almost there!

Now what?

I think I can send the papers.. Both have barcodes...:help:

Wait until the AOS invoice appears as PAID. Then you can send the AOS package.

Have you sent the DS-3032 yet? You can't send the IV package because you haven't paid the IV bill.

Wish I could edit,

AOS I-864 I paid today, and need to mail the packet.

I was told I can mail the DS-230 too?

I did email the DS-3032

You can't mail the IV package until the respective bill has been paid. And the IV bill won't be invoiced until the DS-3032 has been accepted.

I would suggest calling up NVC pronto. They're more than likely going to request that your wife email a copy of her passport. That's usually what happens in cases of name/birth date errors.

Having proof of employment from the joint sponsor would be a good idea. Especially if you don't have their 2012 tax information yet...

And yes, definitely include a letter about why you don't have tax returns (no income).
