Fyi, I asked my husband to scan and email the ds3032 after not hearing back with the template email and put in the subject line, supervisor review. It was accepted within hours.

REALLY? We have the same DS3032 date. I will have the man do this!

09/05/12 .. Got Married in Santa Barbara, CA

USCIS:

09/26/12 .. I-130 Sent

10/07/12 .. I-130 Returned. Checkmarks did not print. Doh!

10/15/12 .. I-130 Sent AGAIN

10/19/12 .. NOA1 date

11/20/12 .. File was transferred to my "local field office" (Seattle)

12/14/12 .. Touch! Officially online!

01/22/13 .. NOA2 date (95 days)

Except that you have to have the barcode from the receipt page for both invoices on the front of the packages.

ErinBeth is right, You cant send it until invoiced because you need the barcode page each invoice creates. Youll get the AOS one first, then the IV one after the DS3032 is accepted.

I sent my AOS one before the IV bill has been invoiced. Some people wait and send them together. Its a matter of personal preference.

Everyone that sent scanned copies of the DS-3032, did you do it w/out the barcode? I just sent it but then realized that I of course don't have a barcode to put at the top of the form; what is everyone's experience with that, does it still get accepted?

There's no specific order, but this is what I would do with your documents:

AOS package

-bar-coded cover sheet (must be first!!)

-I-864

-2012 1040

-2012 W2

-letter of employment

-pay stub

IV package

-bar-coded cover sheet (must be first!!)

-DS-230

-passport photos (in ziploc bag with bag stapled to blank sheet)

-passport bio page

-original birth certificate

-photocopy of birth certificate

-original marriage certificate

-photocopy of marriage certificate

-original NBI clearance

If you're sending both packages together, then I suggest putting each package in its own manila envelope. Mark on the two envelopes your case number, beneficiary's full name, as well as the name of the package (Affidavit of Support, Immigrant Visa). Then put both manila envelopes into a mailing envelope.
