NVC Filers - February 2013

Finally received my case number today!!! My file was received by NVC on 02/05/13 and the lady told me they just scanned it in this morning and to wait for an email from them. I'm gonna be busy wrapping up lose ends this weekend!!!

Question for Saylin or Darnel or another guru perhaps!

So our package was supposedly sent to the embassy on Friday Feb 15th but we have not been able to track it or find it on DHL at all.

We tried contacting the NVC and they had no useful information other then wait 2 weeks for a package they shipped via 3 day shipment to arrive at the embassy, which would just essentially be wasting time.

All the other packages that were shipped the same day, and we can find tracking info for, have been delivered and signed for so what the hell is up with ours?

My question to you is:

What can we do to get info? NVC won't give us the tracking info, the embassy says they haven't received anything and none of them have replied to any emails either.

Any advice please!!!

With how many NVC operators have you gotten the Feb 15 date from? With how many DOS operators have you gotten the Feb 15 date from?

Contacting the embassy is pointless if the case hasn't been sent (or hasn't arrived). Right now, focus on NVC and DOS.

Every operator from the NVC has specified the same date, Feb. 15th. I will call again and have it validated again today.

I have not contacted the DOS since my package left USCIS.

We got our approval on the 6th, interview scheduled on the 11th, and I will be confirming that they shipped it out on the 15th.

That's the timeline currently.

I suggest calling up DOS and seeing what they say. They'll also be the ones that can tell you if the package has made it to the embassy (as NVC won't know).

No, USCIS is USCIS, NVC is NVC, and DOS is DOS. They're all separate.

Called DOS and they confirmed that they package was shipped out on the 15th and they informed me that the embassy has not yet received it.

Guess all I can do at this point is call them again tomorrow....

This sucks. With so many packages getting sent to wrong embassies it freaks me out!

If There is a instance that the approved petition is not been forwarded to NVC. I already submitted my scan approved Nao2. Do I need to call still or wait Nvc research to answer me via email. How long it will takes waiting NVC research to answer me. It there is someone here The customer service rep. ask you to submmit scan noa2 to NVC research
