AAARRRRGGGGHHHH STILL NO CASE NUMBEEEEERRRRRR!!!!

Sorry about the caps but, Seriously? I'm about to start thinking something is wrong. My NOA1 was on Jan 25!! ####### are they doing? At least they do say they've received the case, so I know it's in the building! But this delay is so frustrating!!! I feel like it's just time wasted, it's been almost FOUR WEEKS!

I AGREE! :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

I will call 3 more times today and hope to have it by weeks end.

On a positive side, my wife mailed me the original docs and signed papers to submit once I get a number for the NVC :bonk:

Sent from the Philippines on FRIDAY with LBC, ARRIVED Monday from DHL!

Wish things were that fast for the NVC :bonk:

No DS-261 approval yet and in consequence, no IV fee invoiced :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

The lady over the phone said "Please wait from 5-10 business days after it was submitted" TOMORROW is going to be the 10th business day after I submitted it (I am not counting yesterday because it's a federal holiday)

Should I call tomorrow again and say "Today is 10 business days after I submitted my form"? Sorry, I feel like last week and this week are going slowwww because of the holiday, and since we are not sending out anything to NVC :(

I was reading in the FAQ : It's been more than a week or two since I sent the DS-3032 and haven't heard back. What should I do?

It's been suggested (and has worked successfully with a few members) if you send a second DS-3032 email. It'll be exactly the same as the first email (for the body), except with a different subject line. Put this as your new subject line (changing the case number and name to reflect your case):

Supervisor Review - NVC Case # MTL2012XXXXXX - BENEFICIARY'S FULL NAME - Second Time Sending

Is there something (similar to this option) for the ones we file DS-261 online?? THANKS!

:dance: just called and we have case complete...woohoo, couldn't be any happier :dance:

Tracking number helps. I sent her the documents and pics of the envelope, the label and tracking number. That way if for some reason they needed to know what it looked like she would have pics. LBC is like FedEx, DHL, UPS or USPS. So it should be fine.

I wouldn't use DHL in the US to ship humidity to Florida. They're OK in Europe.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

All advice is given pursuant to the Disclaimer that you may read at the bottom of each forum page.

LATEST STEPS:

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

Unfortunately, no, not as far as I know. Since the DS-261 isn't like the DS-3032 where you email it, there really isn't another way to re-submit an online form.

The only thing you can do is request over the phone to speak with a supervisor. Or, send a DS-3032 email (following the format), and mentioning in the body that you originally submitted a DS-261 on so-and-so date and it hasn't been reviewed yet, so you sent a DS-3032 instead.

Ok thanks, I guess I will have him either use fedex or UPS priority mail (tracking number of course, taking a pic of the envelope is a good idea) I don't trust USPS

DHL was the final carrier. It was sent in a plastic document envelope

lol, the names of most things called "Speedwell" ultimately derive from the herb Veronica and its species and subspecies; in my particular case Veronica austriaca ssp. teucrium. TMI? :)

Hey all. Am I suppose to wait until I get my NOA2 in the mail before I call NVC? Or do I use the USCIS case number to inquire at NVC?
